Ranking Individual Blog Posts - Can It Be Done?

I have been stuck thismorning, as I try to decide the direction for my new site. I am going to do one of the following:

Either

A) Make a blog, trying to rank individual posts that are written around a keyword.

or

B) Make a site with a page for each keyword, so the front will be static and then I'll be ranking a new page of my site for each KW.

My problem with ranking blog posts is that the exact content will be on your domain twice. Once on the main blog page and once on the individual post page.


I was wondering what you guys had done for your niche sites : )

    Put a snippet of the blog post on the home page, use the "more" tag
    built into WP to push the rest of the content to it's own internal page.

    Use the convert posts to .html plugin.

    Then back link the internal pages as you would normally.

    Big "G" loves deep linking to internals.

    Problem solved.
