100 articles in a hundred days - Is this just a rush of blood to my head?

I know this is revisiting some previous discussions here but in this case the target site is well established. Does this change the rules?

In a bout of enthusiasm I am about to sign up to EA's latest competition.
You have to write a minimum 100 articles in a hundred days to succeed. The 100 articles is no problem for me.
I still love EA and the service they give.

But..... I still think it would be better to just line them up to my blog and get the traffic direct.

This blog is P.R 2 and sometimes P.R.3
It is 2 years old
Gets 400-500 visitors a day.
So the blog has value and good content

Any Comments?

Kenj

You can't put them on your blog and submit to EA? Is that part of the rules of the contest or something?

I can do that. It's just that I always like my articles to be different so I would have to write 2 versions of each.

No you don't have to write two versions of each. What you can do is when you submit to eza, you link to another article on your site.

        That's what I do

      Thanks for that info Captainreef

I had not heard of this plugin. Just for fun I will submit all the articles with this plugin and see what the results are like.

Wow! I would definitely put those articles on MY OWN blog before Ezine Articles. And I would consider putting some on pay per click sites like Xomba or Infobarrel (even making a few Hubs) so you can get another payday.

I did a challenge like that on another site but because it also paid out per click in addition to traffic I have made and still make quite a chunk from those articles.

I recognize EZA is high ranking and can drive traffic and they are certainly smart to issue such a challenge to build their own site. I would just be sure if you opt in to angle your time and attention so you end up making the most money for yourself not for them.

Thanks for the sage advice "Lil"

I have submitted 2 articles with the plugin today and it worked perfectly. I will work through the challenge just to see how successful it works for me.

Based on my current articles stats I will get 80,000 visitors a year from these articles. that is on top of any that come directly to my site.

Assuming 1 in 200 hundred buy then I'm well in pocket. It works out to 4 sales per article over the year.

      Yep. So is EZA.

Good luck with the challenge! Wow, think of all the virtual real estate you'll have after this. You can turn those articles into reports, ebooks, podcasts, videos, physical books...
