Getting Spammed In Vbulletin

i am running 2 different forums, and recently upgraded them from SMF to Vbulletin. It is so dam good of a soultion, and i am so happy with my purchase, albeit one problem..

My forum is getting spammed like crazy.

Everyday, i have to delete around 5 to 6 pages (there is 20 thread in 1 page) of forum spam, and it is getting boring doing that for both the forums. I am beyond frustration here

Do anyone know of any plugin that stops this? If anyone knows a solutio, tell me how? It can be either free or paid, as long as it delivers.

    1. backup database (in vb admin panel);
    2. prune all 'bad' threads & users;
    3. turn on image verification

    just by turning on the image captcha will make all the bots go away.. ? Awesome, that a fricking easy solution.. Thats worth a few thanks !!

    Yup Allen,

    i have seen that in the admin option box, but never thought about using it for this..

    Working on implementing it as we speak now .

    Where is the spam coming from? If it all came from a single iP, it's worth looking into.

      Nope, multiple different IPs.. even though a few are related together.. I guess this spammers were brainstorming together and tossing my forum address between themselves. :p

    I have captcha on and still have issues with spammers. I replied to your blog with some posts that could help. I have yet to try them out since the spam has not been that bad on my site to make me take actiontowards it
