Thinking of selling a site, need help.

I am paranoid i am getting scammed, this site i would sell for at least $3k since it's making at least $300++ish/month. (main keyword on page #1 in Google)

I have no experience with escrow and i need advice how i can ensure that i sell the site to a trustworthy person eg. on flippa without getting scammed afterwards. Please advice how to go about selling this site safely.

    I used escrow.com in the past with much success. The process was long - 3 weeks - but escrow.com was just making sure all "bases" were covered.

      I used escrow for a site I sold on flippa for $48,000 about exactly a year ago. It was the first time I had used escrow and I found the process to be fairly simple and straightforward.

      I've also sold a few sites and used paypal without any problems. But I do recommend escrow if you are going to sell for a decent amount of money.

      Otherwise just do all your communication on the flippa messaging system so if a dispute arises they can see what has been going on. And only accept bids from trustworthy buyers... the rating system they have on flippa is pretty good. Also make sure you have the money secured before you send them everything.

    I just used escrow.com for a $90k transaction and am in the process of using it for a, $8k transaction. It is easy and trustworthy.

    yep ... escrow.com. Only other way to could do it and be safe is get cash up front and that's not going to happen.

    you have nothing to fear about escrow, they will handle your transaction fairly well. i have always rely on them for every of my transactions.
