unique article wizard questions

Anyone have experience with UAW? I just started using it and have a couple of questions.

How unique do the paragraphs need to be? Do they need to be rewritten completely or can I just change a word here or there?

What's the benefit of using different author names?

Why are more resource boxes better than less? Seems the point is mostly to get links, right?

Is a short article just as good as a long article? Again, getting links...

I've been reading here and there that in general I can expect a surge in web page rank and then a taper off. True? And if so, why? Don't the links stay out there and just build up?

Thanks,
John

    Hi there and welcome,

Here is my experience while using UAW:

I rewrite each paragraph entirely; different structure, number of sentences, etc. and use syntax if I have time/patience. If you change only a couple words it will be detected as duplicate content. So even if the article gets published 100 times, you will only get 1 backlink counted because eventually Google will detect the 100 published articles are the same (duplicate content). In that case it would be a waste to pay for UAW because the point is to get a lot of backlinks from 1 article. (more results for less work)

Resource boxes: these are considered content and part of your article, so if you use the same resource box, it is detected as duplicate content. See above.

Pen Names: Some say using different author names give more credibility because articles are not coming from the author of the site (self-promotion). It appears "someone else" likes your site and is referring people to it.

Long article vs Short article: Long articles: I have read that long articles are good for gaining authority in your niche. Short articles: At the same time it is now said that most people do not want to read that much from their computer at one sitting, (Like if they are at work) so short is better. Plus, you can create more shorter articles, thus create more backlinks to your site.

For example, say 1 article at 900 words gets published 30 times, you get 30 backlinks (potentially) vs 2 articles at 450 words each, published 30 times each, potentially gives you 60 backlinks.

Surge: I could be wrong here, but I think the surge is due to google counting all the backlinks at first then reducing the backlink count as it detects some duplicate content.

I hope this helps at least some.
