Other good article marketing sites besides ezine and goarticles

I am working on a micro-niche approach focusing on adsense. thus far I have posted on ezinearticles and goarticles, but was wondering what some others are that are beneficial in getting sites indexed in google for backlinks?

Thanks

ArticleDashboard and ArticlesBase are two other big ones. I don't know if it's worth submitting to any others. :p

I created an article directory that is centered on submitting articles that start with "Why do ..."

Of course there is also articlebase, etc...

My favorites are ezine and articlebase. I am NOT a fan of goarticles. I know you said that you have submitted to them, but the reason I dislike them is because they have automatic approval of articles; and as I have said before, it leaves much to be desired with regards to quality. Look around the WF, there are plenty of article directories lists that have been mentioned here before.

Yah buzzle.com is a pretty good site and article dashboard is a great one as well. What you can also do is submit to all the various blogs out there like insane journal etc. that will also help to get you traffic and serp rankings.

I've seen a lot of click throughs on my articles from IdeaMarketers.com, so I'd agree with Anthony above on that one for sure.

There's a list here Article Directory List | Article Directory Rank | MasonWorld Late Night Internet Marketing that I refer to pretty often when I'm looking for other article directories to submit to.

Well, what if my goal is not to care about traffic from the article itself, but to care more for the backlink for google/yahoo?

Are there particular directories that are indexed/crawled more often?

The IM gameplan I am utilizing is the micro-niche path, so I focus on small focused sites, build the page of content, place the google ads, then use article marketing (resource box) to promote the backlinks. Its more of baby steps for me right now as I try to get a system down, but from the ebook I read if done enough times and the focus is $1-5 / day from 1 site, it can turn out really well.

Is it a good idea then to pick say 5 top article directories and just submit the same article to each?

Does ezine articles allow non-unique articles?

Your focus should be on the PR ranking and Alexa. The goal should be a #1 ranking for a 3-4 word keyword phrase.

There are some excellent choices listed, but remember a couple points.
    1. A #1 Google rating gets 33% to 64% of all hits.
    2. Regardless of the millions of competitors, the top ten positions of Google average 80% of hits.
    3. When major trade blogs search for an article, they do a Google search on the topic. The top articles get picked over and over again.

3 good submissions (original and 2 rewritten ) have more impact than 50 others.

Hope this clarifies. The other benefits are a bonus.

Can you clarify on what you mean by 3 good submissions.

Reason why I ask is because I am using article marketing just for the backlinks. My micro site might be about dog beds, but the article I write could be about doing ab exercises. Again, I don't care about WHO reads the article or if it even gets a view, just that google can find the link.

Okay, but there is no correct answer here. An excellent member JosephA, uses a 80% different strategy than mine on articles. We both respect each other, as that main part we both use are top Google positions for keyword phrases.

Each of us can get up to 5,000 readers of an article, and up to 1,000 major blogs reprinting the material.

Both different methods use Google for adsense revenue on high paying words, and the free high PR backlinks from well known forums.

I have 40 years experience, and JosephA also has quite a few, with us having about 12 each on the internet. The problem with links related to blogs and articles are two.

GoArticles might keep your link for 1 1/2 years then clean house. Ezine Articles have kept some for 8 years. High quality blogs keep your nice PR links, cheap blogs and article sites do not.

If you have a site with a PR3, now you get 500 links with a PR of 0 and 1. I get just as easy 100 links with PR of 4 thru 7.

Now who has a site that is going to get more sales as their PR and traffic is rising instead of lowering.

Google closely examines the relativity of content. There is the fast way and goodbye, and the guaranteed way. Neither one of us is "famous", but now we are well set enough to help others.

If you follow the crowd, you will make what the crowd makes, starvation income. When you use unusual tactics you learn and earn.

I cannot give you a map, the choice is yours. In fact I hope you excel way past me. Thanks for being a thinker and not just a follower.
