Any sites similar to Textbroker.com that pay for Articles?

I was wondering if anyone knows of any other websites that are similar to textbroker.com that pay for authors to write articles.

On textbroker.com people requesting articles place a job and article writers get paid to complete the job. This is what I am looking for.

I am just wondering if there are any similar sites. I am not interested in sites like Squidoo, Hubpages, etc. that only pay a share of advertising revenue.

I am looking for sites that pay for completed articles right away. Let me know. Thanks in advance!

Odesk.com would be good to find a more permanent person to help.

Textbroker.com has treated me well though so I've stuck with them.

Although they do not pay right away, you can do really well with

Buy Website Content, Order Articles - Constant Content

I have seen constant content, but never looked into it. Are there job requests on the site that authors can fill? Just curious. Thanks!

I believe Demand Media pays $15/article....

Everyone has a reason for preferring one business model over the other. If you need the money right away, that may be the way to go....

Unfortunately, with those models you do relinquish complete writes to your articles.

Lifetime residuals pay much better, but that is over time. It's $15 now, compared to $100's during the life of the article....

If you choose the right topic.

If you do the right keyword research.

If you can SEO your article properly.

If you choose an evergreen niche.

Yep, I understand the long term value of articles. I have about 200 websites that are living proof of the long term value of articles.

I am just curious about other options...

lol...true, Tina....

a bit more tiresome than some may prefer with the research required.

I do know someone who made about $60 yesterday submitting articles to Demand Media. Just depends on what people need, and their strategy online.

Yes, there are. :D Not sure if you have to be logged in, but: Requested Content - Constant-Content.com Four requests were submitted today, and when you consider that there are actually very few authors there that jump on every single request... well, you have a great chance of being chosen if your article is accepted. And if you aren't chosen, in my experience, someone else buys the article. PM me if you want some coaching on how to succeed there (maybe in exchange for using my referral link? :p ). :)

Thanks for the info Zabrina! I will look into it.

Sounds like there are relatively few requests that occur on the site; that's what I needed to know...thanks!

Yeah what she said. If you are a good writer then you should do well.

Yeah, there aren't a ton of requests, but there are very few truly active writers, too. About 75% of the articles I write for requests are purchased soon afterward, and the others are often purchased later. It's the best content site out there that way. :D But shh, don't let the secret out. :p

Outsource to Freelancers, IT Companies, Programmers, Web Designers from India, Russia, USA, and more - oDesk. You may also post your article to triond.com - the triond pays per view.
Or you can post your skills to warriors for hire - there are other internet marketers that might need your help in content writing.

You could also try "write for us" + keyword.

i.e. "write for us" babies

returns:
these results

I do have a friend doing 15 to 20 articles/week for Demand Studios at $15/article - at least last I talked to her that's what it was.

Associated Content -- Associated Content - associatedcontent.com
This is the site where I write and submit most of my articles. The pay for articles here is between $3 and $20 per article. They are free to join.

SSWUG.ORG -- SSWUG.ORG
These people pay a minimum of $20 per article. The topic selection is not as broad as associated content and tends to be of a technical nature.

Xomba pays you through the ad revenue generated in the article submitted by you. In order to use this service you need to have a Google Adsense Account.

Triond.com
I have personally tried Triond and all I can say that it’s one of the best places to get paid for writing articles. You can write any article related to any topic for that matter provided it makes some sense.

ReviewParty is something similar to Xomba. Like Xomba you need to have an Adsense account here too.

How do you do ($$$$) there, if you don't mind me asking?

In regards to the OP initial post, they did want to receive recommendations that are more on lines of a flat-fee model, rather than a lifetime residual/Adsense revenue share model.....That is what triond and xomba are....

I have a friend who write for Xomba. He appears to like it there, but, honestly, the whole 'culture' and 'branding' (the purple alien guy) isn't conducive to long term interest and doesn't appeal to a majority of people, in my honest and humble opinion. It is easy to see how some could get turned off to writing there. If I were creating a site like that, I would stay far away from branding it with particular "characters"......jmho

Wow! There are actually some great suggestions here...thanks!

I never realized how many people had a page looking for writers (i.e. "Write for Us" page). Thanks Mark for the suggestion.
I will also have to take another look at Associated Content. Is there minimum really $3 per article? For some reason, I was thinking they only paid $1 for some articles.

These are some great ideas...thanks!

Okay, here's another question, and maybe this doesnt belong on this thread, but hey I started the thread :)

What REVENUE SHARING sites (like Hubpages, Xoomba, Squidoo, etc) will allow you to post duplicate content? I have TONS of articles on my own websites, that I am wondering if I could also earn a little by publishing these on some revenue sharing sites where this is allowed. If you are aware of which sites do, let me know...thanks!

Redfox,

This may help a little:
http://crunchydata.com/content-sites.htm

It is still a work in progress....a collaboration between myself and a blogger (at crunchydata.com).

Look at the "duplicate content" column on the chart.

Most don't allow duplicate content for a reason.

Wow, that's an awesome chart! Thanks for sharing! I see a couple of sites do allow duplicate content, so that's good news...

Many sites do perceive duplicate content as having a negative impact on how search engines view their websites. For that reason, they strive for quality, original, databases of articles. If you look at growth trends of websites that don't allow duplicate content there is great indication that they know what they are talking about about.

Of course, that doesn't mean you can't make money on ones that do allow duplicate content. Never hurts to diversify.
