PLR Article Writing - What subjects would you purchase?

Lately, I've been trying to strike up ideas and look for some more work, as most of my business has dramatically slowed down. And thanks to the WSO rule about link building (I offered a high PR link building service, manual link building with all manual profile creation and link placement), I can no longer offer my services here. Plus, I just cannot afford to drop prices any lower than what some people overseas can offer. In other words, I'm between a rock and a hard place financially, and I need to figure out something now before things continue to snowball.

I've been writing articles now for a long time. I know the all of the tricks and know how to write an excellent, high quality article. So, that got me to thinking - Why not write up some PLR article packs around popular niche topics and sell them to people who need them? Obviously this is nothing new, but I wanted to see if there are any particular topics out there that people are interested in or what is in demand? And what word length do you prefer? 300 to 500 or 500+?

If you can reply with some feedback or ideas, that'd be great! I appreciate the help.

Wow - Thanks for all the feedback! I know there are a lot of other PLR article writers out there on this forum, so I was trying to gather a popular vote of what people purchase or need, and it looks like everyone is all over the board here, so the possibilities are truly endless.

I'm going to get started this week in a couple of various niches and present a WSO within the next several days. If any of you are interested in seeing my writing style, just PM me and I can direct you to some of my articles I've written over the years at Ezine. I'd even be willing to do sidework for those who are interested in original articles, rather than PLR. Obviously my pricing won't be $2 an article, because I try to deliver only the best, top quality, readable and most importantly, interesting and engaging articles that entice people to click through to whatever offer they are presenting, but we could work out something.

Thanks again for all of your feedback. This helps a lot in times like this when things are looking thin, which is why this forum is great. Everyone here is always willing to lend a hand when it's needed, and that's truly appreciated.

What about prices? I'm thinking of doing article packs in two different packages - some of 10 and others of 15. What prices would you guys pay (and WSO prices, not prices overall)?

I'm sorry I don't have input on prices, I have no experience with that. However, personally, there are so many articles I can spin in weight loss, etc. but I can't find them in these niches (nor do I want to learn enough to write about them!):

      green living
      solar energy
      stock trading/forex
      iphones and ipads

I think when you get more answers you will better find a pattern. Good luck and keep us posted.

$7-17 per pack, depending on the niche and the quality of the articles. I'd definitely want to see samples of your writing style before purchasing, though, so that might be something to put together as well.

Thanks again for the suggestions. I ended up just going with the 'green' niche for this one, but I'll definitely be knocking out a collection of various articles. May even offer a WSO for article writing services.

Sounds like you are trying to compete on price for no reason.

Why aren't you doing what your clients are doing who are making an indecent profit from your work?

Build a list, do an adswap, make some real money. I'd trade some articles for that with the right partner rather than deal with $7 sales.

I run a few startups that address critical business problems. PM or Skype me about joining my direct affiliate programs. My products are business continuity and customer testimonials. Both are unique.

I guess it boils down to time, really. For me, it doesn't take me hours or days to write content, but it's the exact opposite for others, which is where I come in to 'bridge the gap' so to speak.

When it comes down to it, I'd rather offer the content as PLR and sell it at a low price. My overall goal is to build a business that is based around my writing. To me, it's a nice change of pace from the work that I've done in the past, so that's the direction that I'm looking at rolling in.

I have been looking for some high quality articles in the infertility field. Anything related to infertility treatment options, costs associated, and that stuff. Its hard to find and most of the content is repetitive. I've bought content that is 300 words, but was disappointed. That was only good for a blog post. I think most people buy PLR for article submission and that has to be 500 words on most sites. Just my opinion, but I don't know anything.
