Hey guys, I've been trying to find the right answer to this... is a selling license needed to be an affiliate marketer online?

    Depends upon your jurisdiction -- this is a worldwide audience here. Here in Durham NC, you would need a business license as a "peddler" to run a web site.

    Depending on where you live, you will need a business license if you want to do this for earning a big chunk of money.

      Business license is a must, but "resell" license you do not need, unless you are buying real physical products and reselling them.

      The benefit is that resell license will save you from paying local taxes.

      Another benefit of business license is that you can ask for employer identification number, and by that number you do not have to provide social security (of course if you are based in US)
