Twitter overloaded?

I finally stopped fighting it, and joined Twitter. I'm still not sure how it works, but apparently it does...so I figured it was time to check it out myself.

Anyway, I'm trying to upload my photo, but it keeps returning a "Too many tweets" error.

This has been going on for about half an hour.

Is anyone else having this trouble, or did I break my account already?

    I think twitter knows you have way to many FANS that they wont let you finish updating that account so you wont soon Dominate the whole twitter world and have 1000000000 followers.





    PS: I didn't have that problem.

    have you tried going here and uploading it?

      Perhaps you have the wrong file format or your photo is not scaled to Twitter's acceptable proportions.

    It's not anything that Sam's doing.

    "Twitter overloaded" is code for "Twitter is overloaded", as in too many people accessing the site. It happens.

    I had the same problem with linkedin, so its not just Twitter. I didn't have any problem there.

    Haha, well actually I only have 8. I was hoping that wouldn't break their system


    The file format is a standard GIF, small proportions, 5kb in size, so it should be fine. It just seems Twitter really IS overloaded, and has been all day...

    Oh well, for now I'm just a little brown square with two o's and a line between them.

    I just found the problem!

    Twitter has a GIF bug - they've registered it, but haven't got a solution yet.

    So if you upload your image in JPG format, it should work.
