I recently read from some Warrior that Google is about to launch ebooks. Today I read a news item in this regard.

    I am worried about how this will affect the digital products/information marketing business. Also in terms of SEO, I guess the listings for Google ebooks would have higher preference to others?

    Folks, this is a how to make money forum, not a forum on worrying about how Google is going to "Rule The World".

    When Mr. Google launches this, you and I will more than likely have an opportunity to make some money to. More than likely they will be looking for authors with good e-books and other information products. So you will have the chance to get your e-book downloaded and that mean money in your pocket.

    I'm just thinking out loud here, but just as Amazon has an affiliate program for promoting, perhaps Mr. G will too. Holy smokes can you imagine the traffic that would be driven there.

    Get out of the "Scare Mod" and look for the opportunities you may be able to take advantage of.

      Get out of the "Scare Mod" and look for the opportunities you may be able to take advantage of.
      It's not that Google has ebooks that scares me. I could care less. It's everything related to power and privacy that REALLY gets me.

    I agree with Ken. This may change the market, but there will be new opportunities to make money. It could lower the price of ebooks, but perhaps that can be made up with volume.
