I just noticed Google changes its logo and SERP page!

What do you guys think - good, bad, or doesn't care?

I'm wondering how this will effect the CTR to natural searches vs. PPC ads.

  Finally changed for me about an hour ago. Up until then, I had to click on Options and then Wonder Wheel or Timeline...then I could see it. But now I see it all the time.
  
  I personally like and I think this will give a boost to both bloggers and blog spammers, unfortunately.

  Yeah, the new Google SERPs do look cool.
  
  And yeah, if you hate the new look of the GAKT, you can just click on "Previous Interface" on the upper right hand corner and there you have the old look. But I'm willing to bet that Google will completely take the old look offline soon and we'd be stuck with the new look.

I am with George, my Google SERPs page looks the same, both before and after doing a search. Which is a good thing, in my opinion. I have a hard time dealing with change.

  Also noticed that. Even more weird thing I noticed is that on mozilla I have top spots for some keywords on google while on IE for exactly the same phrase my rankings are different.

Guess Portugal was the band leader this time cause we've been getting this split test for over 2 months now.

Do you guys have the option with your location, top left? A new feature you can change to another location? Let me see, imagine you search for a restaurant, you can change that item to another city of your choice.

It's a new feature but it's clearly coming in and going out of the tests they're doing.

I'm also seeing split versions when I conduct searches. Although I'm not as excited about the new look of the Google Keyword Tool it does open the opportunity up for someone to create a quick guide/report to conducting keyword research with the "New" Google keyword tool.

Yes, the google keyword tool is also different, but you can change that back to the old interface at the top right on the google keyword page.

I think the new google is ok, i'm used to the old one though so at first I was like "what tha" but... we'll see

As I mentioned in another post, the new look isn't on all the different data centers yet. Every time they do a change like this they roll it out slowly over the different data centers --helps them monitor reactions as well as making sure folks can continue to use Google while a major update is going on.

Regarding the keyword tool, when I went to the tool I was immediately presented with the captcha in a Jscript popup. Could this affect tools like Keyword Elite and Market Samurai that use Google results? The changes could be an attempt to make things harder for automated searching.

When was the last time you stopped using a website because of the way it looked?

The reverse is true. When did you visit a website due to the way it looked (design). I always say that to my new website design clients.
