hey, thanks for the quick reply!

I know all these terms.. i'm really not sure how to go ahead and implement them.
    any walk-me-thru-onetime course?

this is going to sound funny...
but, I have had many people asking me if i can do this for them
    I usually turn them down...
but, i think i would like to jump in and start... now!..

I think it would be too rush for you to pick up all these skills immediately. You can definitely pick up the projects first and learn it along the way.

    But let's prioritize..
    1) learn ppc first because if you need to do it for them, this should be done within a week's time to get traffic flowing into their sites.
    2) autoresponder - simply get aweber and it'll be an easy task for you. 1 day will be able to complete.
    3) Setting up tracking system - do they have a web designer or programmer?
    4) Copywriting - to ensure conversion but it would be wise for you to outsource this if you don't know how to do it.
    5) learn seo last because it takes months for you to rank their websites even you know the how part. And the results can't be guaranteed too.

The key is learn it one by one and outsource some of the work first so you can have an easier time.

Hmmm...a new program just came out by that name. Only cost a couple of thousand dollars. You might check it out.

Basically, it's like cold selling. You have to call or go in person to talk to the business owner. Find out their advertising budget, see if they have a website, and do the SEO for the site. Figure out what you will charge for your services.

It's for the larger business, not the mom and pop shop.

Well, my advice would be to take one of the many people you have asking you for these services and start. I too, know all these terms and can speak to non-tech people like I know what I'm talking about, but would fail at the implementation part.

In my case, I have started "practicing" or "implementing" with local seo on my own local website and have seen results. Soon I will have the confidence to offer and charge a client for this service.

So basically what I'm saying is that the best way to learn how to implement is to physically start doing it.

For local seo I started with this

As chooch mentioned above there is a course of that name. If it is not in your budget you could take out the $1 trial of traffic Geyser (same company and system). Watch the training video's you get when you sign up for the trial, watch the launch video's for The Main Street Marketing Machine, if they are still on line, implement it all using the Traffic Geyser system and at the end of the trial you could have made enough to continue with TG ($97 per month) obviously that's part of the Hook in the trial. Will be packed 14 days though!
The video's included are very informative TG and IM in general.
Can also try Ed Dales 30Dc as general education. Well produced and informative.

    Hope that helps?

    Hey Sean

I think you're problem is definitely information overload

What you need is a clear strategy of what WORKS ... and not vague suggestions (do PPC and an aff offer) ... this is what everyone says.

If you are new, learn PPC to drive traffic FAST ... and send it to a micro-site where you do CPA, like lead generation or something.

Don't do any "per-sale" affiliate offers, it's too difficult. Do something simple.

Any questions just let me know
