Has anyone seen and used googles new Wonder Wheel tool.
Seems like an affiliates dream to help in finding related keywords and hidden micro niches etc.

If not give it a go :
Search for eg candles from google.com.
Select the more search tools pulldown on the left.
Then click the wonder wheel link and see what happens..

You can then drill down into the "spoke" keywords to find all kinds of related terms that you may never have thought of..

Well good

Personally I think wonder wheel is pretty silly, and useless.
someone had too much free time who built it.

Perhaps its silly to some but a lot of people would relate better to the visual output rather than just text, me being one of them.

Sometimes Google tend to create these kinds of stuff to just create "fun" out of tools online so I suggest if it's not knowledgeable enough with you and your business, not using them could better lessen such distractions. That way, we could focus on effective and essential things that will yield us more results.

It isn't a new tool as it has been around for about a year by my recollection. Contrary to the earlier comment, it is neither silly nor useless as it allows us to think laterally about whatever market we are targeting and thereby uncover other potentially profitable keywords and niches.

I recently attended a webinar hosted by Neil Asher and featuring Brittany Lynch as guest speaker. Brittany is an ex Google Adwords Accounts Strategist so she knows what she is talking about.

When asked what extra tools she used; Wonder Wheel was one of them.
