Need 20,000 opt ins in 17 days. Can I do it?

the task is to get 20,000 people to sign up to a 3 day design festival in London:

Clerkenwell Design Week

We have some major partners and great backers.

What are some specific things that I shuold do to drive targeted leads to sign up for the festival?

    I'm not a lead generation expert, but I'd say you basically have two options for getting leads fast (both of them are costly):

    1. PPC advertising. Create a list of keywords related to the theme of your festival and run some Adwords campaigns. The final cost per lead will depend on keyword cost and conversion rate.

    2. CPA advertising. Sign up with a CPA company (as an advertiser) and pay directly per lead. This might require a very large budget though, because your registration form is pretty long (11 fields). You might have to pay at least 3-4 dollars per lead in these conditions.

    Just my opinion.

      There is a nice WSO right now that can get you immediately into google news where you could post a link to the sign up.

      I'd do that, some additional press releases, and look also for a company that can do a mass mailing for you.

        In my opinion the only way you will reach out to enough people and get 20k signups in the next 3 days is to use an already existing mailing list. Even then its gonna have to be a very large one so using a 3rd party mailing list company is probably your best option.

        Look for one in your niche with 1 million+ lists. Plenty of them around, although they can be quite pricey the ROI is generally quite good.

          There is a quick way you can do this if you have your own producct. You will need to find as many jv partner as possible to promote your product, when a sale is made make sure the buyer opt in to you funnel, before you know it there will be a lot of names comming up your list as they are responsive to the jv partner you choose.

    Again you can join a niche forum on yahoo group, you will need to be a member for a while and then add your signature to yur profile, the good thing about this is that they are targetted List.

    Try targeted Facebook PPC, people who hang on there should fit the profile for a festival attendant.

      I think PPC advertising and CPA advertising is the best way to fulfill your desire. But you have to be alert during selection of advertising company because there are many scam sites.

      And you can also hire some person through any outsourcing site for this task of signing up. They just have to create email address and should have software for producing multiple and different IPs from same computer. The drawback of all those process is they are very costly.

    I think you need to find a related website that already has a ton of (like seriously huge) traffic from people with the right 'demographics' to come along and put an advert of sorts on it.

    Go where the traffic already is and then funnel it back to your site.

    And .... PPC as well.
