This product - To send traffic to sales page or squeeze?

Hey all,

I'm working (on the side) on my father-in-law's project and had a question about traffic. The product will be for fighting depression, insomnia, anxiety and panic attacks. A broad stroke, but my father-in-law has had and dealt with all. Thus the product.

If you're curious, you can check out what the sales page will be close to looking like at sixweekstochange, however keep in mind it's only the copy, not the formatting or final page - It'll of course look "pretty" and have it's own domain when we're done. (As for that, I got some great advice for the copy in the copy section to charge it up...thanks guys.)

So ignoring that the page only reflects the "alomst" done copy, and that it will look be centered, formatted correctly with all the "trimmings" etc., should I send traffic to a squeeze page or the sales page?

I ask because I assume that people who are desperate want a solution now, and they don't want to go through a bribe video or audio, before hearing about a solution.

Normally I understand that it's best to collect emails, but for this? I don't know. Is it heard of to send PPC or other traffic straight to a sales letter for the product itself? Does this product warrant deviation from the norm because the folks are more desperate for help?

Or should I stick to a squeeze page and collect their email by promising something else...a free offer or what not. I just can't tell if that would lose folks...

Thanks for your help,
Nathan
