Testimonial boxes in my free website builder??

Hi there my Dear fellow marketers!

Just a quick question for any of you who could help:

Story short: I am away from my own computers, and I had to download my free website builder from Ewen. I am trying to add some testimonial boxes to a landing page which I am writing in the Editor, but when I insert a table I can't find an option to add the testimonial graphic box as a background for the table, all it offers is changing background color.

is it any other trick I could use to go about doing this even though I don't have the option of adding image as background inside tables? (in my free website builder)

or can anybody recommend another free editor that offers this option?

Ewen's "Free Website Builder" is just a branded version of the opensource editor named NVU so you may find the info you are looking for by going to YouTube and typing in "nvu tutorial" as there are a bunch of videos there.

Now, using tables for testimonial boxes (aka Johnson boxes) really aren't ideal as they are "code heavy" but if that's what you know, you should be able to get the job done with them.

If you are using one complete image, it will force your testimonial boxes to be one-size-fits-all and they will not expand (properly at least) if you have a testimonial longer than the image height.

It would be better to build them through CSS but if that's foreign to you, a table-based layout can be made to work.

If you already have this page online and would like to link to it (and the image you are trying to use for the testimonial background) I will play with it and code the testimonial area using CSS.

I can't promise a "2 hour turnaround" but I will definitely give it a look when I find a little time.

  Thanks a lot. No, the page is not on the web yet. I think I will go with your advice and just do the testimonial using the table itself without the image.
