Clickbank: My affiliate hasn't been awarded

Hey guys,

So I've set up my first mini sales funnel.

I have a $7 dollar product and then an up-sell to a $39 (btw disappointed that you can't set different affiliate commission levels for individual products in clickbank)

Anyway this is the situation.

1. Affiliate Y start referring a couple of hundred people to my sales page.
2. I start making sales of $7 product including Mr X
3. I see Mr X also buys the up-sell, but the transaction shows that the affiliate was not awarded, why is this? Did the customer clear their cookies?
8 hours passed between his first and second purchase

Also, what is the cause of order form submits not turning into sales?

    If mr. X's affiliate link WAS NOT the last affiliate link to get clicked, he will not get the sale.

    Also he may very well have cleared all his cookies preventing proper tracking of sales.

    As sales are tracked by cookies, which may of coarse be deleted.

    I also recommend contacting Clickbank and asking them.....As they're the pros on the subject.

      First, can you confirm that both products are in the one account.

      One possible reason for the affiliate cookie not being used is that
      the customer switched to a different browser (or different computer).

      It would help therefore to know the time lag between
      purchase of the two products

      Card not accepted. Possible reasons provided by ClickBank are
      * An invalid Postal Code entered on the ClickBank Order Form
      * An invalid Name entered on the ClickBank Order Form
      * An invalid Card Number entered on the ClickBank Order Form
      * The prospect's payment method is not authorized due to problems with funding
      * The prospect is identified to be participating in fraudulent activities
      * An invalid Card Expiration Date is entered on the ClickBank Order Form
