So many sections of IM.. Where to start??

Ok guys,

I have a big problem getting started, then procrastinating. Mainly because I am always distracted by "New" methods of making money online. So instead of a blueprint of making money.. is there a blueprint for learning?? Any recommendations or suggestions? For example..

First learn: Blogging, then learn Article Marketing, then learn PPC, then learn CPA, so on and so on

Basically, what I am asking is: Is Internet Marketing a foundational thing? Or can it be??

    It is.. whatever you make it.

    The first thing you need, some more not agree with this, but because it's the Internet, you need a website or some way to build a relationship with other people - no matter which method or business model you choose.

    That's the best place to start IMO, have a channel that allows you to give value to people first, worry about making money second.

    You really need to focus on one area and make that your passion. Don't be distracted by the next greatest thing that you read about. Learn one thing at a time and be dedicated.... but always keep in mind that no matter what area you start with, list building should be one of your primary ingredients to success in that area.

      I see.. so would you advise blogging to be a great channel, especially for newbies?? I personally think it would be much better than article marketing..

      It seems like your and Louise are saying the same thing.. So should I start a blog that leads to a squeeze page and just FOCUS on that??
