Outsourcing article writing or simply getting them from article directories, is it as effective?

When promoting cpa offers and other affiliate products on my site, is it as effective to simply go to places like ezinearticles to get the articles needed to create all the content on my mini site pages?

Isn't this a heck of a lot simpler and much faster?

The only problems I see is not being allowed to change those articles a bit to create an interlinking strategy between the pages with the proper keywords and probably activating google's duplicate content penalty (which some marketers say it's just a myth) but there must be a way to get around that right?

Thanks,

Zayne

Having original content on your site is going to help with the search engines. I think it is okay to use some from directories, but the majority should be your own. Just a thought!

    Hi,

I'd recommend both approaches. Use a mix of articles from EzineArticles.com and write some original content. The duplicate content is a myth but if you are worried about this write your own introduction paragraph to the top of the page and place the article below it.

Another idea is to use the content from EzineArticles.com without changing it but pick out keywords in the articles and link them to other pages on your site. So long as you don't change the article you should be able to do in-text links.

I'd go with just getting original articles, but of course if you're on a budget it's always nice to save a few bucks.

However if you're planning a major campaign you'll find more benefit from having custom tailored content for your site (will create a sense of intimacy).

I'd recommend having original content on your site.

That way you won't have to have author's signature in your article and you'll have articles that are more targeted to your readers.

Also, if you're trying to rank in search engines, rewriting is recommended.

Personally, I get my articles outsourced. Mainly becuase it's so much better, search engine wise, due to the fact that it's totally unique.

Taking them from directories is ok, too, but you should be aiming to get your links on as much unique content as you can.
