why cant i buy a web site

i have been trying to buy a web site for the last two weeks from websitebrokers.com i ve made one or two offers and asked for some info on some web site .ive had no replies am i doing something wrong or is there some thing i should be doing that i am not doing.

    i have offered the full price for some of the web sites i am interested in but i have had no replies .i think is probably because ive asked for proof of income.some one should really start vetting these scammeres

    I have never used websitebrokers.com because a lot of their listing look scammy. I prefer to stick with sitepoint and other site selling forums.

    Sorry, I really cannot agree it is not worth buying existing revenue generating websites. Afterall, there is no point in reinventing the wheel if somebody can do it much better than you. All large companies eventually expand by buying other companies, and this includes Microsoft and Google.
