FaceBook and Twitter

I'm sure this question has been asked a thousand times, but bear with me as I feel the need to ask it for myself.
Where do I find the best tutorial/step-by-step information for FREE on how to use FaceBook and Twitter to drive traffic to my website?
Also, I created a business "page", but definitely want to put something on it before I send my friends the "like" option. What would I put on it? Do I just post to the wall, and if so, what?
I have been told that you can easily link FB and Twitter so that they share posts...is that true? How would I do that?
I obviously need to sign up for Twitter, but is there a difference on Twitter between business and personal like on FB?
So many questions.....so much to learn!!
