Help, Got Great Domain Not Alot Else

Hello,

My name is Peter Jones, I own EarnOnTheInternet dot com and that is clearly my task. I have a fair knowledge of internet marketing, however i seem to be stuck in the stage of changing ideas on almost a daily basis!

Can someone give me a clue hoe i can go from near broke to $100 per day within 30 days, maybe using the domain maybe not.

Clickbank?

Any ideas, please help.

Peter Jones

    Hi Peter

That looks like a great domain name

Because it is good I would handle it with care and plan carefully how to use it.

This will take a lot longer than 30 days. You will not earn lots of money quickly on the internet unless you are very clever or very lucky.

I am neither of these but I am now making a decent part time income after a year. I can see that in 2 years time I will be earning a full time income and then some.

    Good Luck

You should write down a pro and con list of ALL your ideas and that will help start knocking each one off the list for you.

    Hi Peter,

My best advice is whatever you are doing, you should learn yourself before attempting to teach it, so if you haven't learned to earn yet, there's no need to market anything from that domain.

You could keep it and let it grow in value until you have been earning for some time or could sell it and make a profit.

Edited to say Peter, my mistake. Your domain doesn't say anything about "learn" or teaching it does it?

Yeah, a review site is a possibility.

You could probably use it for a review type site writing unique reviews of money making products on clickbank etc.

You could easily do your reviews and then promote the site via article promotion.

For goodness sake Peter, don't use that domain. You appear not to be earning money off the Internet and if you pretend to be doing so, it won't be long before you are found out.

Keep the domain in reserve (it is a great name and a valuable asset), learn from this forum and other avenues of learning and once you are earning a steady income launch your business.

If you are already earning a steady income, then please ignore my post, but from your initial post, it appears that you are not yet.

      Regards,
      Jeff.

    Hi Peter,

You have a great name that lends itself to using subdomains also.

    YouCan.EarnOnTheInternet.com I.EarnOnTheInternet.com, HowTo.EarnOnTheInternet.com etc.

As far as not using it USE IT. Analysis paralysis and fear will stop you from doing anything.

Start a blog with WatchMeLearnTo.EarnOnTheInternet.com and log your daily efforts to your first dollar, first $100, $1,000 etc.

    Use that name,

        Hi Again,

I don't know at what point you are now. If you are starting from nothing the first thing you need is a hosting account. You can get that for under $10 to start.

Once you get hosting, install a wordpress blog on a subdomain. That is create the subdomain first and then install Word Press on it. By the way get a hosting account that uses cPanel so you can do this with a click of the install button.

Read this forum paying close attention to money making posts and the WSO section. (read the WSO section to see what's selling)

To quote an old saying, "Plan you work and work your plan."

Decide what you are going to do to make your first dollar, State it in your blog and then do it. Just a dollar that's all. Making that dollar will probably be one of the best feelings you ever have. If you have already made your first dollar tell how you did it. Move on the $2, $4, $8, $16, $32, $64, $100, $200, $400, $800, $1,600, $3,200.....

Read this forum. Do something, report it in your Blog and talk about it here. "I made my first $1 posts will get you a cheering squad going. rah rah rah.

Ask questions you can not find in the search feature, "How do I do this and that" will get you a lot of help.

All of the above is a learning experience and an exciting roller coaster ride that you will enjoy if you are cut out for IM.

Many thanks George, I have taken your advice. I have creates my blog the link should be in my sig now.

I received an email from Tim Harris offering me Rob Fore's new system for $7 so I brought that and I plan to use the strategy and add some extra free advertising.

I have $50 left to spend on marketing, so we will see how that takes me along and I will be keeping my blog updated Daily.

If anyone has any extra sources to help me promote clickbank products please post them.

          Kindest Regards

I love George's idea of adding a blogspace to it and getting people to watch and learn over your shoulder sort of thing. That's quite intriguing. Everyone has a bit of voyeur and if you've got any writing skills, a blog is definitely a time tested way of accruing an audience that you can put to later use.

That's what I'm doing with mine. I'm just hunting and gathering and building trust and credibility w/in my niche for now. All part of the master plan for world domination and such. With a rubber chicken by my side.

Anyway, do what George suggested! That's my opinion, anyhoo.
