Would this be a good idea?

Hey all

As you may know I am currently working on a new website for my invoicing software product.

At the same time I am considering different options for marketing/promoting the software. As well as making the site convert more.

I just had an idea (probably not a new idea but new to me)

I have noticed a few video bloggers on youtube are working on small business blogging. would it be a good idea (or possible at all) to ask them to make a short review of my software.

they would be welcome to use an affiliate link for the direct referrals, thereby hopefully making some money off the deal. and I would be able to put the review on my website.

Naturally this would all require that the blogger likes and whishes to endorse my product.

Good/bad idea?

    I dont really see the relevance in the idea but reviews are always good to have.

        Yes i do believe that a video on a website will raise conversion. I guess i didnt understand the question. But your the one asking for opinions so.

    Hehe thats allright craig

    I didn't really explain myself all that well either

    I offer my visitors some information and the possibility to download a trial ware.

    but since I target small business owners with my product I can be sure some of them don't have the time nor the willingness to download and try out multiple software solutions before deciding.

    If I have a short favorable video on my website I believe I would be able to get more visitors to download and test my software (Once they do this I have a pretty high conversion rate, so the download is my main goal)
