Getting Your Articles Approved at Ezines

Hello Warriors,

I purchased 20 articles from a writer recently and they passed copyscape 100% original and the sentences are proper English. The format is 3 paragraphs: intro, body, body/weak conclusion. The problem is they are the same 10 concepts recycled over and over just in different combinations. So for example if the topic was gardening for beginners:

Article 1: Watering, Soil, Sunlight.
Art 2: Location, Sunlight, Roots.
Art 3: Roots, Watering, Soil.
etc.

My question is, if I submit these in bulk or even spread out over 2-3 days, do Ezines reviewers scrutinize submissions to the level that they will notice this and suspend my account?

Thanks for your responses!

If it has passed Copyscape then there's nothing to get worried of since it's a proven test although you should also take note if the "meat" of these articles remain the same - that will be your issue with Ezines as they could also tell you that you're just rewriting it all over again in different angles even if it's unique.

At the end of the day, it's not always about the uniqueness, it's about the value of the articles.

If the article is unique and it delivers the content that you have promised in your article title, I think it should be accepted.

You will still want to consider having quality in your article as the users will only go to your website when they get values from your article

Passing Copyscape has little to do with whether it passes at EZA. If the writer has recycled the same info with each article, you have a high chance of them rejecting the rest after you submit the first.

Also, I have seen articles pass CS but be rejected for not being unique when the writer simply rewrote another EZA article. They do have ways of discovering this. I had to fire a writer about six months ago for doing this when I caught them.

I'd suggest spreading them out over the course of a week to submit them. This may lessen the chances of EzineArticles realizing it is content just rehashed again and again.

As long as they are not embarrassing to you I would certainly submit them over the course of a few days to 10 other article directories regardless.

All I can say is, Ezine Articles are becoming VERY picky! I submitted an article to them yesterday and I got an email today telling me that it's been rejected for having "grammatical, spelling etc." problems (unspecified of course). So, I went through it with a fine toothed comb and fixed up any areas where I thought it might be a little shaky. Well, it's been rejected for a SECOND time, and I haven't got a clue why! There isn't a spelling mistake in it, and I'm fairly sure there's no major grammatical or punctuation error either.

Anyone else experienced this lately? I am certain that they've published other articles that aren't as well written as mine (not that it's perfect, but honestly, I get PAID to do ghostwriting so I'm not a dreadful writer). It's extremely frustrating!

Fortunately I am already a platinum author so at least I don't have to wait days for a rejection...

As far as I'm aware, ezine are prefectly happy with people bulk submitting articles, the question is, why wouldn't they be happy writers submitting more articles to their website? It's exactly what they want people to do, submit articles to their site.

As long as your articles are unique / copyscape passed and obviously also unique, they should be approved without a problem, the amount of staff ezine have reading articles all day long, the chances are different people will be reading each article.

Passing Copyscape is no guarantee that your articles will get accepted. A while back they started cutting back on derivative content (which yours is if it's the same concept rewritten in different combinations).

I wouldn't think so! At least, not if they have good editors who recognise that colour is still a valid spelling of color, and realise is a valid spelling of realize!

That being said, I usually use US English.

However, they would get upset by you spelling choosy as choosey

    • passing CS is not a guarantee they'll accept your articles, it's the quality

Yes, as I look through the posts here the common theme is not so much passing copyscape it's more the quality of the article. So focus on writing quality content to increase your chances or getting accepted.

I've had writers pass CS then get rejected in EzineArticles. Yet others are accepted. I don't know the really answer why, I just assume it comes down to quality and who is moderating it.

No need to worry. Take no notice of the people who winge about getting articles approved EZA being too difficult.

I have NEVER had a problem, all my articles get accepted..

Write a unique and quality article and it will be accepted.

I have never had any problems either. I make sure my best articles go to EZA rather than other directories.

I've had articles rejected that were completely different, but they were two articles about dogs. One was bringing home a new baby and the other one was about dog safety when your child starts crying. Both passed copyscape but the second got rejected at ezine. I sent them an email asking why and they said sorry duplicate content. So I don't know.
