I have over 1000 weekly email subscribers - but no income. Help please!

I have a horoscope website that I created to learn more about website processes. I have over 1,000 subscribers to my weekly email but I do not charge anyone for anything.

Any ideas of making some money from the site will be really appreciated.

It is speaktothesky.com

Thanks
Stuart

You could tie up with JV partners in the niche who have products to offer... Most of those interested in horoscope are also into psychic and new age stuff and I've seen facebook apps where they upsell full reports (instead of just a paragraph) for $20 or so...

Check out the facebook apps and your competitors and see what they're promoting...

1000 weekly subscribers is awesome! Keep up the good work =)

Send a questionnaire in your newsletter asking if you could provide anything what would they want and how much would they pay for it. You have your answer.

Or go to forums and see what questions are being asked and create a product that answers them or go to clickbank and find a product for your niche which you can then send people to via your newsletter for a commission.

i think horoscope is a bit outdated already.. most people probably just go to yahoo to check theirs nowadays. You're not gonna make a lot of money on horoscope alone.

Thanks. I never expected to but a little to offset some of my time would be nice...

Astrocartography - astrological forecasts based on where you live. This is more specific, because there are millions of places to live... it's not like your sun sign, which one out of twelve people has. My mother drops $120 a pop on these.

Similarly, natal horoscopes based on your exact date and time of birth are provided in many places ($20-$50 usually), and there are many software packages out there which can help people cast a horoscope (wide range of pricing).

If you're into horoscopes, chances are you're also into tarot card readings and runecasting. A good deck of tarot cards costs about $10-$15, and a sack of runes usually runs about $25.

If you're lazy, Amazon sells horoscope guides.

  • regular horoscope readers are suspersticious people (or atleast that's what I think).

Clickbank has a product that says the truth about 2012 with all these conspiracies and things that'll happen in 2012 that could tie in with this sort of thing.

There's rather a difference between "superstitious" and "absolutely bugnuts crazy," you know.

Just an idea never know if the two could compliment each other unless you try it.

I mean why do people want to know their horoscopes? (they want to know what is going to happen that week)

Similarly they might want to know what their fate is going to be by 2012.

And obviously there's those who just read their horoscopes for a laugh or entertainment.
