Anybody know what review plugin they are using ?

So far I've found the following, they all look decent:

WordPress Review Plugin for Affiliates - MyReviewPlugin
Review Rating System Wordpress Plug-in
WPReviewEngine - Extremely Powerful WordPress Review Plugin & Themes
http://www.wpreviewsite.com/
Review Blog System
Premium-WPReview.com - Premium Review Plugin For WordPress | Best WordPress Review Plugin Ever Made
http://www.reviewpluginforwordpress.com

But none on par with what they are using in the supplement
site.

Anybody know any others/better ones , let me know in this
thread and I'll add them to the above list for future searchers.

Looks like http://www.wpreviewsite.com/ to me based on a quick glance at their source code.

I like this plugin btw. I used to use it on a review site that I had.

The site must be hacked to death?

It doesn't bare any resemblance to WPReviewsite
in terms of the themes they provide, in fact the
site looks a bit like one of the revolutions/
      studio press sites to me.

I actually own an old copy of WPReview
has it been updated the last few years?

The wpreviewsite is just a plugin... are you asking what theme that site is using?

The site is built on this theme:
Revolution Magazine WordPress Theme | eBlog Templates

and integrates the wpreviewsite plugin to allow for people to rate products.

Also, I'm not sure on the plugin update.. I haven't been notified of one (I think it was unlimited updates when i got it).

wpreviewsite also have their own themes that go
          with the plugin.

Yeah, thought it looked like a revolutions one.

When you look around that supplement site, if it's
using WPR, both the theme and the plugin usage
have been hacked to holy hell.

Ohh.. yeah, i knew that. I see what you were saying.

Yeah, it looks like they're using the revolutions theme with the plugin from wpreviewsite.com

Also, for future reference, you can generally tell what they're using by:

            Right click > view Source
            Ctrl+F > plugins (or themes)
Then google the plugin/theme directory and most of the time it comes up right.

(i.e. hxxp://www.4supplementreviews.com/wp-content/themes/revolution-magazine/images/favicon.ico) you can google that, if it's not obvious like that one.

Yah, knew the method for checking the
themes, but how did you know which
    plugin they were using ?

    I took at look at:
    http://www.4supplementreviews.com/wp...s/wpreviewsite

Which IIRC is the correct directory for the wpreviewsite plugin.

    I got a 404

Or are you just taking an educated guess in regards
    the plugin ?

Same technique. I searched "plugins" and stumbled on this in the header:

    hxxp://www.4supplementreviews.com/wp-content/plugins/review-site/review-site.js?ver=2.8.5

So I googled that ([review-site wordpress plugin] was my search term, no brackets) and it came up first. Then I quickly compared the review boxes and determined it was the wpreviewsite plugin.. I had already looked at the theme, so i knew it was just the plugin they were using.

Wanna see something amusing in terms of indexing speed:

Do a phrase match on "review-site/review-site.js?ver=2.8.5"

      See the no#1 result..
      Google kinda likes the WF.

It is not really any google love. First you have the review-site.js?yadadyada in there. Now do the same exact search for just "review-site" instead.

I am just pointing out the obvious here. here are only 5 competting pages for the exact search term review-site/review-site.js?ver=2.8.5 and there are only 3k pages for the term with out quotes.

Now since it was mentioned on the page and this site gets crawled alot it would be the number 1 spot. But If I wanted I can get a page indexed in an hour for that term and over take the warrior forum. It is really easy for a term that leaves no other chance at what it is such as review-site/review-site.js?ver=2.8.5 However if you take just the first part the results are going to be much different.

1billion competitors for the term review-site and 1million competitors for the term in quotes and warrior forum is no where to be found. So the only reason warrior forum is the number one spot for review-site/review-site.js?ver=2.8.5 is because there is no one else competing for that term and who would.

As I said I could make a page right now on a completely irrelevant site and out rank the warrior forum with some very basic seo.

At the time it was way less than 34 minutes as well.

I did the phrase match about 5 minutes after you posted.

    Max...

Ran into a free plug in called GD star Rating, but 2 years old, under google search. Wondering anyone here tried it. If so, is it reliable?
