I wouldn't risk it personally, I'm not a lawyer.. which is who you should really ask, but companies take their trademarks seriously.

I concur I wouldn't chance it. Google's pockets are deep and they can make your life difficult if they want to.

The term Google, belongs to yep ... you guessed it ... Google. Using Google in a domain is trademark infringement unless of course you're building a Google Fan Page or a scathing review of Google (ad free).

Google has been going after those who infringe on their trademarks, so it's your risk.

Just like cheating the IRS, you might get away with it ... for a while.

From what I've seen recently, Google is getting more aggressive with protecting their Trademark... and rightly so.

And the least that google could do to such a site is prevent it from appearing in google searches. Of course there will be much worse to come.
But that's just a supposition. Why not get in touch with google to see what they have to say?

It won't take them long to find it. They have a little search engine that indexes pages and has an inurl search feature.

I think you have made a right decision because taking the Google name in your domain would be very risky for your life time , but the other option is that you can little scramble the word Google and then you can use it.

      Don't even think about it!

They will come after you and you will, at the very least, have to take your site down. And that is the very least. It could be even more serious than that. And also, all you hard work will have been for nothing.

Don't ever include any trademark name in a domain.
