My Breakthrough
I will be real here, I've been at internet marketing for about 11 months to be exact, but I've been trying to make an income online for over a year. I've found what I could do, write articles, and as I found that, I've stumbled across affiliate marketing.
I've joined a few sites that take articles and I've signed up for google adsense. Interestingly enough, I wasn't getting any kind of pay.
I've banged my head against the wall since June and went back and forth between blogging, doing tasks, trying to complete offers, (many of them require you to buy something).
At the end of last year, I've stumbled across using article directories for traffic. I began doing that, but I also had to update my blog everyday. There were tons of days where I didn't know what to write.
Last week, I sat back and thought about it and I came up with a plan. I figured for my niche, (self improvement) I will do book reviews promoting the books from one of the affiliate programs I've signed up with and write a number of articles everyday with links to my blog. I figured I would start getting some kind of income within a month.
I'm already seeing results within a week.
I've said all this to say, if you are looking to make money through affiliate marketing.
1. Figure out your niche (important)
2. Study and research how internet marketing works and meanwhile get a hands on feel for it. (important)
3. Develop a plan (important)
4. Work, work, WORK!!! (important)
Persistence is key, if you fail and it means that much to you, get back on it. You can maybe back off for a while, but if it means that much to you, by all means get back on it.
Try to do at least twice as much as you think it may take. If you think it takes ten, try to do twenty. The only way to a breakthrough is to break through.
