Question for SEO Linkvine users

I've been using SEO Linkvine and I'm wondering what sort of rejection rate people are seeing for their submissions. Articles can be rejected due to bad spins, bad category selection, or any reason at all, really.

Since there's no feedback from SLV regarding why articles are rejected, I'm just curious to know what sort of rejection rates other users are seeing just so I can see if my results are typical.

My stats:

Total articles submitted to the system: 61
Total number of times those articles have been approved: 377
Total number of times those articles were presented to site owners: 568
Total acceptance rate by site owners: 91 %

I've been cleaning up the articles with the lowest acceptance rates, but I realize that I'm always going to have some articles rejected. I'm guessing at this point that over time, something in the 90% range is all I'm likely to get.

Anyway, I'm just curious to know what rejection rate others are seeing.

Thanks,

Charlie

    93% acceptance here.

Rejection is not necessary because its a "bad" article..more likely is its going to a wrong category on some site.

Some categories are just "fuzzy"...let's just take an example of an article about "colon cleanse", or diet pills etc.. I *could* tag such an article as "food / nutrition"...another one has a cooking recipe site..but he for sure would reject the colon cleanse article and diet pills since it doesn't go with his site.

I realize that articles can be rejected for any reason at all, though I suspect that awkward spins and poor category selection are responsible for most of them.

I had an article that was only being accepted 63% of the time and went back and looked at it and discovered some strangeness in the spin synonyms, so I fixed that.

If I have some idea as to what a "typical" rejection rate might be, then I'll know when to go back and fix the article and when to just consider it something I can't control.

I can fix it if it's got problems. If they're rejecting it because they don't like the category or because they got up on the wrong side of the bed this morning, then I can't do anything about it.

I just thought it might be helpful to get a feel for how it was working for others.

awkward spinning of articles is often the reason for your article to be rejected

I reject most due to not relating to my blog and poor layout.

I have about 94% acceptance rate.

So far our acceptance rate is 100%, then again we just started using the service so we don't have a lot of articles submitted, yet. Our team also doesn't use any spinners. All our articles are spun by people, not software.

I am using linkvine articles on 3 sites but haven't submitted any myself yet.

I accept about 75%. Off topic or affiliate links in them are reasons I reject.

Have to say the articles have been better than AMA ones. At least closer to the topic. 75% rejection rate over there.

Based on my own experience and what others are reporting here, it appears that if you're getting better than 90%, you're doing OK. I'm sitting at 92% now after 68 articles submitted and some 505 published articles.

I was just looking for some sort of benchmark; I think I've found one. Thanks for the feedback.

I added article to my blog via SEOLinkvine.. unfortunately out of 3 articles per day, 1 of them (sometimes 2) not related to my niche. So need to reject it before publish into my site. It just for 1 blog, imagine if I have 50 blogs, wow.. a lot of articles to be rejected, and the worst part it my blogs not fully so called autoblogs.

I have currently had 97% of all my articles accepted. I guess it mainly comes down to

    A) How well written each spin version of the article appears
    and
    B) How tightly focused your category choices are.

I have received some wildly mis-categorized articles to the sites I have in SEOLV and I rejected most of those.
When I submit articles, I select every category that can still be considered a loose fit for my article, but never go overboard with it. I know that if I select a "general" category, the article might get rejected more often, but no hard feelings, there.

I'm a bit embarrassed but my acceptance rate is 41%. In my case, the reason why it's so low is because I only have 7 unspun articles and 1 spun article.

By the way, anybody notice this with seolv links...it looks like the anchor text from seolv links are not showin. Am I the only one?

I use SEOLinkVine for link building, and I also publish articles on my blogs. My article acceptance rate is 70%.

The main reason why I reject the articles are the following:
        - Link in the first sentence
        - Of the topic
        - Directly competing site.

Up until a couple of days ago my acceptance rate was about 90%, articles were being published fairly regularly and the flow of content was decent.

Now nothing for two days. No content published, no articles presented for review, nothing pending, no updates on the site (last one was May 19th, what's the point?), no response from support, it's as if the whole system has just died. Is it just me? Is anyone seeing any sign of life from this network?

Why is it there is no resource (apart from the Warrior Forum) to get any information about SEOLV? When this thing encounters problems (which is about every other day) there's nowhere to go other than hope a search turns up something on this forum. Mad, isn't it?

This happened to me to and I actually canceled my subscription after going for about a month seeing no articles get pushed out for review anymore. I got some responses from support saying their programmers were tweaking things but I just couldn't wait any longer after waiting for a month of basically nothing happening, it seemed like my account was dead in the water.. I did really want to keep the subscription though since I felt I had been getting good value from the service for the first month up until that happened in month number two.

Up until that happened, I was doing pretty good with acceptance rates ranging in the 90% area

I still get articles for review to publish to my sites and I reject about 70% of them for being poorly written, having 2 word titles, content too generic, basically looking like no effort went into making the content. There was good stuff though too, maybe it was just my particular categories.

Most the articles that got submitted to my sites looked liked they were spun versions written by 5th grader in India. Horrible grammar, paragraphs that made no sense. Not useful at all for a "quality" site. I suppose this is another tool for those people pumping out site after site of garbage actually hoping to maintain rank in google.

That's what it looks like it is turning into, but if there was even a minimal effort at quality control it could be a very different proposition. I'd suggested in another thread the option to report SEOLV members for sending through garbage. I still think that's a worthy idea. Better to have 3 or 4 quality articles per day than an avalanche of excrement, which is what we're currently getting.

My service finally kicked back into life again today and I was hit with what appears to be a backlog. Every single article was absolute garbage, semi-literate brute force spun crap. Now some members have added an extra spammy touch by selecting every category on the target blog. I had one article for premature ejaculation (spun up as "ejaculate shooting") that was posted to nearly 50 categories on my blog including, "Women's issues, speech pathology, popular diets, skin care, snoring...", you get the point. You seem to have two time consuming choices with SEOLV, either manually approve each article or keep scanning your blogs and hitting the delete button. I can't see what Brad Callen hopes to achieve by facilitating the spamming of so much garbage across the Internet.

Here's another issue that has taken a while to materialise. Apparently one of my articles (a decent, informative, grammatically correct in all versions, 100% spun, 800 word article that has genuine value - hint - HINT!) has been published 97 times by SEOLV. Pretty good, but a month later I can only find 3 (as in less than 4) backlinks in Yahoo. When I posted a spun version of the article to a couple of my own blogs they were indexed on Google within 30 minutes and had backlinks listed on Yahoo by the following day. Just what sort of quality are the majority of the blogs in the SEOLV network? I can understand Brad not wanting to let the list get out but if the bulk of the blogs are zero quality then what's the point of getting published at all, I might as well stick with the established article directories, at least you get links that way.

Finally, can you believe it, there are users out there who have named the SEOLV author account on their blogs "SEOLINKVINE"! Some things just hurt the brain too much.

Brad, if you are reading this, could we PLEASE have a blog or a forum for this product? The Warrior Forum is surely not the place to be airing these issues but right now it is the only option. If you can't do it then will you let me set something up and administer it for you? Will it not be of huge long-term benefit to let the members discuss this product in a suitable venue?

I would have PM'd you but I don't have enough posts here to do that yet.

I've use similar services to linkvine (articleqast - stompernets blog network) and it sounds like it was basically the same. Most of my unaccepted articles were because the category was kinda iffy.

Or it was just a plain'o crappy article

Here are the reasons why I rejected articles on SEO Linkvine:

    1. Off the topic
    2. Irrelevant links with the topic itself
    3. Articles have been used at many sites (this is the main reason why I reject Linkvine articles)
It's a lot better if 1 spun article used only once.

Personally I feel like the articles coming from ArticleMarketingAutomation and UAW are of better quality than what's coming from the SEO Linkvine network. And that's not saying much. I might approve 1 out of every SEOLV 10 articles that gets sent for my personal sites. In most cases you only have to read the title to know the rest of the article is going to be absolute garbage.

I think a lot of it isn't that the article is crap, its that the spun was rushed and crappy.... which makes the spun article crap.

I think as articles get old in the system and once a fair amount of the articles propagates in the system webmasters will turn down your articles, at least that's what I found. was averaging in the 90's but it has dropped to 70's at the moment.
      here are my stats

Total articles submitted to the system: 137 (137 total articles)

Total number of times those articles have been approved: 5727

Total number of times those articles were presented to site owners: 9079

Total acceptance rate by site owners: 72 %

I have rejected most of the articles I have received - they have either been not enough of a re-write, nothing to do with the topic of my blog, stuffed with links or just badly written.

Reading through the threads looks like most are having the same issues particularly with badly spun content. I cancelled today having had over 1000 articles published but now I see that there has been no activity regarding the articles pending for over a week. Main reason for cancelling was really the two fold - appalling quality of most of the articles and also the low quality sites that back links were coming from. Seemed like a good idea at the time but when you are reliant on people not as picky as yourself I guess this is the outcome

And absolutely nothing is being done about it, or if it is then it's not working. We wouldn't know either way because nobody ever updates us. After bring with SEOLV since the start I have a pitiful number of backlinks (nevermind the published stats, its the actual backlinks that get indexed that count), in fact I have more indexed backlinks that I manually put on my own blogs than the total output of SEOLV. That, added to Brad's inability or unwillingness to provide a venue where members can discuss these issues, means I'm on the verge of cancelling too. The one thing that has been holding me back is, as you mention, SEOLV is a good idea. A good idea - terribly executed. A massive shame.

I canceled my membership. I gave the service 3 months, and have under 100 total links (all from **** blogs) to show for it over all my submissions.

They need to completely overhaul the quality control.

All I can say is thank goodness for the Warrior Forum. It has stopped me many times from spending my money on lousy tools.

I recently bought some PLR articles for an affiliate site. I can tell that these articles were spun. When I use them I find myself re-writing them... probably right back to what it said originally! About the only thing they're useful for is to give me an idea or a starting point so I can then go ahead and write a decent article myself.

The Internet is so full of crap, you've got to wonder where this is all going. Sometimes I wish we could just "wipe the board clean," so to speak, and start again... with some ethics!
