Device for recording phone conversations into MP3??

Are there gizmos and gadgets that I can buy, hook up to my phone line, plug in via USB (or whatever) and somehow record any given phone call of mine quickly, effectively and in above average or even great quality mp3??

Up to now, I've always used dial in teleconference systems (even though it was just myself and the other person) or Instant Teleseminar type services (which are too many steps to accomplish one simple task if you're not actually holding a teleseminar).

Ideally, if I could just press a button on my gizmo and have it record our conversation (both ends, not just me) into worthwhile quality mp3, I'd be smiling.

Suggestions??

    Rob,

Skype plus Callgraph makes a great combination. The output
from Callgraph is MP3 by default which saves a lot of time.

This is the one I use https://www.usbrecorder.com/index1.php.
It can record off the phone and also room conversations.
You can also post little notes about the converstaion as you talk.

It's great I use it in court all the time from my laptop with 2 mini speakers.
      It's clear as a bell.

I'll have to check that out. Right now, I'm using the 'Wireless Phone Recording Controller' from Radio Shack (part # 17-855, around $20) between my Panasoninc cordless office phone and an inexpensive recorder (Olympus WS-300M, check Amazon for deals). The quality is good, and the neat thing with the recorder is you can take off the battery pack and it jacks right into a USB port for downloading.

Even the built-in mic isn't bad for recording spoken word (like an interview).

If you're on the road, you can use this set-up with a cell phone as long as it has the standard headset jack. Probably needs another piece to use with Bluetooth, if it's possible at all.

I use CallRec by MobilSoft for my Palm Treo. I'm sure they have similar apps for many phones and PDAs.

Thanks everyone. Some homework here for me. I appreciate the Skype recommendations but I need a phone setup though.

    And ...

Emailrevealer, EXCELLENT! Thank you. I'll look into that... I think I need a solution that I can have in the next couple of days so I'll shop local electronics stores but I'll see what I can dig up.
