Have a Minute to Test a Website for Me?

Hi All,

I've been working all day getting my main website upgraded and updated. It's heavily customized so I'd really appreciate it if I could get some test visits using various browsers and OSs just to be on the safe side

The site is http://www.electronicperceptions.com

Let me know if you find any errors, problems, weirdness, etc.

Thanks!
Kathy

Looks good on OSX / Safari..

On a side note, I spent some years in Albuquerque.. NM is great (especially northern nm) but I just missed Cali too much..

Looks great on Firefox 2.0.0.16 on Win XP!

I've always loved that WP theme, but never had the patience to link all the photos like you did.

    Great job!

Art: I had the advantage of already having most of it done because of my own customizations around about version 2.2 of WP. So this morning I just updated then customized the base theme to work with my mods (single posts and photo collection pages are the biggest differences)

Gian: Just what I needed to know, thank you! I'll have to figure out what's causing that...

PJ: I miss Tucson Will be moving back in about a year when my daughter goes to bootcamp.

Thanks everyone, I really appreciate it!

Your site is good to look at and the information is interesting.

However, if I may say a few points which are as follows:
      a) The hyperlinks wordings are a bit light, maybe they can be of a darker shade (the same colour in a darker shade)
      b) The menus dropdown wordings can also be made into a darker shade. Morevoer, when we hover over any menu link, the highlight is too dark and blurs the wordings, this highlight can be of a lighter shade.

Overall, I liked the contents and its organization. Three Cheers!

It could be the following (my views, apologies for they may not be correct):

      a) Maybe Vista is not installed properly or some updates are required.
      b) Some virus or spyware is there in the tablet/notebook.
      c) IE7 could be corrupted or some components missing.

Please do update us of the latest developments and share with us the solutions you found. Thanks!

I see what you mean on the links. The drop downs are now fixed and I'll work with the main links a bit more tomorrow. Thanks

I also realized my browser titles were all screwy so those are now fixed too.

On the IE thing: There used to be a code you had to put into your CSS to work around an IE bug. I haven't looked it up in years though so I don't know if it's been fixed yet or not. I usually include it in my own themes by default but this time I worked from a base theme created by someone else, so it could be related. I'll look into it more this week as I have time.

Thanks again everyone, the feedback was a HUGE help and the compliments gave me a great big grin too!

Must say that your site new look was a pleasant surprise and more appealing. Cheers to you for your hard work and positive attitude towards the suggestions. I think you have the will and shall succeed.

Trust the grin remains on your face.

Please do post the IE code whenever you get it. Thanks.

Looks good to me on IE/Vista. Nice selection of colors. Seems to work well.

              I like the layout.

I loaded your website on a 17" widescreen in Internet Explorer 7 and a bottom scrollbar is showing up even though the page isn't anywhere near that wide.

                It looks good.

However, please pardon my saying so, if possible can the following be done:

                a) Can the hyperlinks be made of a darker colour? As they are quite light and it is not easy to read.
                b) Besides, can the fonts be made slightly bigger for easier reading.

Nevertheless, as a whole, it is looking very nice. I liked the contents, and the layout.

                Wishing you success!

I loaded the main page with FF3 and IE7 on a notebook
    with Vista.

The IE shows a lot of space on the right with the scroll
    bar active.

Looks fine to me. I tested it in FF3 and IE7, at 1280x1024. I'm running Windows Vista.
