How much of a chance do I ACTUALLY have?

Ok guys. Little bit of background about me so you can more fully understand the situation. I'm 18 years old and currently reside in the US. I wrote articles for SEO marketing about a year ago for about 3 months. Made less than a grand during that time..was a bit lazy about it. But now I'm back. Just had surgery on my knee and I am not able to work..and won't be able to for quite some time. I'm living at home and have pretty much every second of every day (besides my physical therapy appointments..) to dedicate to this cause.

So my question is..how much of a chance do I have of actually making money? If I'm able to dedicate myself to this cause..do I stand a chance? I'd want to be making at least..30 or so a day. I only have about 3-4 months before I'm going to be leaving the country for two years.

So, for all of you who don't like reading, here's the gist. I have 4 months time to make money online. I can dedicate myself fully to the pursuit of this money. How successful can I be?

I understand that the motivation behind many memberships here is to promote their product. I can definitely appreciate that, but I'd prefer it if we kept the advertising out of this topic. Once I make my choice of whether or not I'm going to be pursuing this, I'll then start looking around.

Thanks a ton guys, I appreciate the time. Mods, if this is the wrong section please move it!

To be honest I don't like your chances. The last thing you want is some time frame where you rush and feel pressured.

I bet in the last couple weeks before you leave...IM will be the last thing on your mind, so in reality you have less time actually

Having said that yes you can make "some" money in 3-4 months depending on the model you choose.

My question to you is....what happens after you leave the country? Can't you continue with your website? If so....whats with the timeframe?

Your chance all depends on you. You can make it happen, or let the next 4 months go to waste. Pick one thing in IM, stick to it, focus and make it happen. You alone determine the outcome.

I don't see why leaving the country should necessarily prevent you from continuing your online activities. The beauty of the internet is that you can work from anywhere. Unless of course where you will be going to does not have internet connectivity at all.

if your goal is to make around 30..ish a day, you probably won't break $5 a week. You're 18 and you're worried this and that.. 18 is the best age to start any biz without much of a consequences. What are you gonna wait till you have a wife and a kid to feed to try your luck? you're not dedicated enough for this biz.

If you are thinking about marketing other peoples products and you have zero previous experience your chances are about as good as a 3 legged pony at the race track.
On the other hand you could look at offering a service, article writing is one that springs to mind, this way you could be earning some $$ much sooner.

Sorry to be so negative but i believe you should know that IM is not just a 4 month gig, it takes time to get the ball rolling.

listen to this " visualise the things that you want. set it. feel it. believe in it. make your mental blueprint and begin to build"

you can never earn on the outside than you can on the inside. it all depend on you if you believe its achievable i.e your goal then go for it

    Hey Griffin,

When you're talking about that kind of money
made in IM in a matter of couple of months, Article Marketing
    alone won't cut it.

In the least, what you have to do is to hire 2-3 more
people full time to do this for you.

Also, you'd pretty much have to create your own product
and get it approved on ClickBank, so you can get affiliates promoting
    your product for you.

So, the plan should be-create a product, get people to drive traffic and
tweak the offer for highest conversion.

If you can do it quickly, than we're talking about a realistic
chance of you reaching your goal.

I thought you already made 1k in 3 months before? That's $300 or more per month or $10/day. Then why are you in doubt now?

      Hey bro...

First off, I'm 19... great start. I know a guy named George Brown who's also 19, making a killing online.

To be honest dude... you seem like someone who can take something and grab the bull by the horns and do it. So I'm telling you this based of what I gathered in reading your request for advice...

Your chances of making a minimum of $30.00 per day online within the next 4 months is 100% achievable.

Keep in mind... this isn't something you can just ask someone if it's doable. Of course it's doable. It's something you have to ask yourself. Are you willing to do it? 4 months is MORE than enough to achieve this goal.

I've been "trying" to make money online for a year. Why did I put that in quotes?

What I'm about to say is exactly what I'm sure 80% of us on this forum are doing.

Because what my "trying" consists of, is picking up a shiny new method, getting blasted with email marketers who have more shiny new methods, then buying those, trying them and dropping the last one....

I've been in this cycle for a while... and I've known it's a problem for a while as well. And I'm only just now trying to break it...

But I'll tell you, I have EVERYTHING inside my head. I know I can make money online. I KNOW IT! Like, the information is inside my noggin... I just need to apply it. I need to dedicate myself and get off my butt.

That's what I've been working on lately... cleaning my email and unsubscribing from all those spammy marketers out there, and finally implementing what I know and have inside my head. I've only been at it for about a week. But I know that by the end of summer, I'll be making a steady income of at least $1,000 per month...

      ...IF I stick with it.

      So my advice to you...

When you get started (because I know you will), pick ONE "product" or "method" or "system" or "course" or "formula..." Whatever the heck you want to call it... and STICK WITH IT. Get all those marketers out of your email... they distract from the goal.

The honest truth is... making money online is easy. But because of the fact that there's no one there telling you what to do all the time (like a boss at a 9-5), you are left to your own motivation and "stick-to-it-ive-ness."

IMing is honestly a game where the success is in YOUR hands. It's like capture the flag, but you have the flag already.. you just need to run it to the other side.

The question is... will you run?

If you will, you'll be well on your way to $30.00 and MORE a day.

4 months is easily enough to do this. Start with small goals. Build it up from there. I'll add you as a friend dude... let's keep in contact. I'm proud of you for doing this at an early stage in life-- just think ahead... how will you be living when you're 21? 24? 30?

What you do today lays the foundation for tomorrow. When discouragement comes, remember your long-term goals. For motivation, set your eyes on those short term goals.

      See ya.

Griffin, while you were being "a bit lazy", you made more money online than most people have while busting a gut and trying for years.

I'm telling you man, if you've got all the time you need to dedicate to your business then you have more than a good chance. You can't fail.

The hardest part for most people when trying to make monwy online is believing they can do it. You're over that now.

You've already shown you have the capability to make money online and now that you're gonna really FOCUS on it, the odds are MASSIVELY in your favour.

But why do you have to stop when you go out the country? Is it a lifestyle choice? No intertnet connection where you're going?

Shoot for the stars man. Build a real business that will take care of you forever.

Anyway, good going. Good luck with the physio.

    Reach new heights,

    Nathan

Maybe I didn't read correctly, but you haven't specified exactly how much money you're looking to make? I made my first $200 bucks from internet marketing simply by writing an ebook for a member of this forum.

From there I made more than $600 in one month just by helping other warriors with things like blog posts, press releases, ebooks/reports, etc. I've stopped for now to focus on something else that I can implement long-term, but if I get really strapped for cash again, then I know where to go and what to do.

So here's my advice: if you know how to write, then fire up your word processor and get to work. I too am young and stuck at home all day, but at least I know I'll never be totally broke.

Post a thread in the warrior for hire section ($20 to post) and literally within an hour or two you'll have people stuffing your inbox with service requests. Start with article writing as it is short and should only take an hour or less per article. But have writing samples on hand because no one wants to waste their time.

    Good luck.

      Yea you can,

You are not looking for a long-term business, so it shouldn't be too much of a problem.

Don't bother with a bunch of research and other garbage like that, because it will just slow down your results.

Take one day and one day only to research what is selling on the WF. Find out what people want and create a quick and better version, (don't copy, that's wrong). If it is an ebook, make an ebook, some audio, and some video.

Write a good report, shoot some valuable video, etc. Put that in the WSO section. You have to be selling something REALLY bad to not make any money in the WF.

You can post a WSO selling something for $20 and sell three a day. Once to bump your thread, and the other is $40 of profit for you!

Just offer a ton of bonuses and such and you should be golden.

You can also post yourself in the Warriors for hire section. There are webmaster and content writer positions available in there. If you can install a blog and write an article, you can be in there.

This is just an idea to get you started.

      Hope this helps.

Baha, gosh dang I didn't expect this many responces. I'm getting both negative and positive outlooks, hm.

And the leaving the country thing is serving a mission for my church, so I won't be able to do any work at all. Won't be able to update anything..nothing. So it IS a rather tight 4 or so month deadline.

Not sure what I should think at the moment..gotta make up my mind soon though!
