What to test some clickbank products which site ? Squidoo, Hubpages or weebly ?

Hi guys,
Want to test some new CB products using a web 2.0 site and i`m just not sure which site to choose out of Squidoo, Hubpages or Weebly ?

I have been told Squidoo has very high ranking power but when i look at the site i`m just not sure i like it, it looks really slap stick with so many distractions i really have to look hard to find the product for sale on some squidoo sites but i guess thats partly because of the way the person put the page together.

So what about Weebly this is also a PR8 site like Squidoo so shouldn`t it rank your article just as high ? But i dont see many people using this site is there a reason for this ? is it not a affiliate friendly site ? Can anybody show me a good Weebly page selling a product phyisical or digital ?

Then theres Hubpages but this site is only a PR6 so ..What do you guys think anybody had good success with one or the other ??

PS anybody knows a successful Weebly site please send the link as i`d really like to see it !

Cheers Jim

I've sold clickbank products through hubpages - it's quite successful but don't think a newbie can sign up to hubpages and just promote clickbank products, you'll need to give something back to the community by writing great less commercial articles as well.

Squidoo is difficult to get ranked for unless you are a top author.

Can you explain what you mean ? I`ve never hear anything about squidoo being hard to rank with ? The site is PR8 and is old so i can blast some backlinks to it quite quickly ? Not sure what you mean by its hard to rank unless your a top author ? Please explain thanks Jim

Hi thanks for you reply, yeah if any of the products i choose to sell on one of the web 2.0 sites makes me any money i will set up my own site but just for now i want to test the products with some easy to rank for long tail keywords, I just want a bit of quick cash and to do some testing i`ve got 10 products and had 10 articles written cheap for me to play around with
so just going to use one of the said sites for easy ranking blast it with some backlinks and see what happens, Just not sure which one of the sites to choose ??

Because i want to use the ranking power of these web 2.0 sites

In all honesty, you should be using all of those sites plus others. The more links pointing back to your affiliate pages the more chances you have of making sales. Why limit yourself to just one spot?

The ranking power of those sites will help you get your page ranked. So you should buy a domain name first then use a hub page, squido lense and others that point to your domain name.

You can just redirect your domain name to the clickbank product for now, but if it turns out that you have found a good product and your articles are driving traffic then you can build your own site on that domain so you can capture leads and even write your own copy for the clickbank product to improve conversions.

Those three sites you had mentioned works pretty fine, why don't you use the three of them for a better result

  • They all work. Pound for pound you'll get more out of Hubpages but you need to limit your affiliate links out or they will flag you.

It's kind of 6's... and more of what you can do than what they can do. Give two guys a basketball and a hoop. Who makes the most freethrows?

A few of you guys have mentioned working with all three sites i just wondered exactly what you mean, I have 1 product from CB to promote and have written a article for a long tail keyword because i really dont want to go after anything difficult for these tests i want to get in there with some high ranking for some easy keywords and see how i go on. Are you saying to use the same product and a rewrite of the article on the three sites or just saying test the three sites with different products and articles ??
