Short Term Income (money fast) Ideas

Hey guys,

I wanted to throw around some ideas of how to make short-term income really fast.

I am not talking about millions of dollars or 10,000k a day. No. Not at all.

I am looking for a way to make quick $3,000 - 4,000 on Internet WITHIN 2 MONTHS. Doesn't even have to be long term income.

A) I thought about building mailing list, this usually takes good 6-12 months and even then doesn't mean it would converge.

B) I thought about doing affiliate program through AdWords marketing and Facebook ads, but convergence rate is soo crappy. Actually click-through rate isn't glamorous either. I've been playing with AdWords for couple years and I am slowly coming to conclusion that AdWords are useless, nobody really clicks on them.

C) I thought about buying-selling stuff on Ebay, however, anything of value requires capital; I don't want to invest more than 200-300 bucks.

D) Having your own blog with affiliate links takes time, even if i have context and write article an hour, i am still stuck with same issues as A)



I don't mind putting in hard work. That's not a problem. I don't mind throwing in 200-300 bucks into this idea.
The conditions are:
- It has to be legal.
- It has to show ROI within 2 months.
- Maximum investment 200 bucks (I already have hosting and I am a web developer and I can write)
- Preferably with IM

If your answer "it's not possible", i would agree if i was asking for 10,000+/month income, but I am not asking for a lot. And I am not asking for residual income either, and I don't mind putting A LOT of work into this.


Any ideas?

    All people who want to make money online like to run the online business that can show ROI within 2 months. But I just find it difficult to find this type of short-term-income ideas because all these ideas need much efforts indeed.

      Another one of these "How can I make X amount of money in X amount of days/weeks/months" threads? Why in the world is this becoming a trend around here?

      I guess since you have $200 to invest in your business, you COULD outsource some link building. I got an e-mail yesterday for a $200/month link building service that will do it all. But if that is too overboard, look for cheaper link building services. Just grab a domain, do your keyword research, build an affiliate/Adsense site, and you'll be on your way.

      A quick 3k to 4k in two months? I'm sorry to say, but in my eyes it IS impossible. Well okay, I guess it's possible, but extremely unlikely. You'd have a better chance of surviving in a piranha filled tank with cuts on your body than making 3k to 4k in two months. Try six months to a year.

      Things take time, man. In IM you MUST be persistent and don't go out looking for quick results.

      For some people, yes.


      It's all about the knowledge you posses and the action you apply.


      A new person coming in from a 9-5 with an ebook on how to make money online will likely not make any significant gains within a couple of months.

      Major players could turn a million bucks, starting from scratch, within 2 months..... because they know how it works and they put their nose to the dirt and get things done that matter, and are efficient about it.

    I would reiterate what Biggy Fat (great name) says. 3-4k in 2 months sounds fairly unlikely. If you really need to make that amount of money then use your skills to get a contract role as a developer. If you're in the UK or US then 4k in 2 months is more than achievable as a contractor.

    For a IM campaign or website the revenue profile is very different. You should concentrate on the basics, on a well-researched approach which you then complete to the end. Whether its Amazon marketing, or selling an eBook product, or affiliate marketing the profile is similar. It will start low and then build steadily over time. Visitor numbers, and hopefully Page Rank, will slowly increase and as that happens the $1 a week will turn to $1 per day and then $1 per hour etc etc.

    Why not sell your services? Web development and writing services both sell well. I'm set to make that much in just a couple months from three of my long-term clients. Might not be "autopilot", but if you're willing to put in the work, it will work. And practically no startup cost is required.

    There are very many variables to making money online. It is very unrealistic to guarantee any amount. What works for me may not even work for another party.

    Tush is right: Most of the time the question is like : How long is a piece of string!This being said, it is possible to make money quickly..

    The whole deal hinges on giving people what they want and not what you want to give them..if that makes sense..

    I remember years ago, a guy took over a pub or bar if you like..he refused to offer fried chips to customers because, he didn't eat them though...everyone was asking for chips, think he lasted at least 6 months!

    Find the hungry crowd give them what they want and make money simple..

      Six months was even a long time... I have learnt that all these things work. It only depends on an individual, luck, time, the month, year, the season, etc

        You are asking people to throw you an idea that will make you money.

        Go look at the WSO section, most of those people just have short term income from the products they created.

        I sat down for a week, about 4 months, and I cranked out a niche eBook and bought a good domain name. Then I paid someone to reorganize it and make it look more professional for $37.77 on oDesk. Then I made a minisite for it, then I paid someone $20 for that, and then I paid for backlinks on here, and I wrote articles and replied on forums for an entire week... mostly while I was at my 9-5. I put my eBay business on hold for two weeks.

        Then something crazy happened. I started making money. I was making several sales a day.

        I repeated this process several more times.

        Now I make enough to have a small team to keep my products and website up and running.

    Have you put much thought into site flipping? I believe there is serious potential to make $3-4k in two months, if you created sites that provided a lot of value.

    1) Look through this board searching for the most asked question related to making money.

    2) build a virtual book and outsource a sales page

    3) create your website.

    4) open up a WSO to get the ball rolling with sales. Do some some massive backlinking to your website

    5) Flip the website for even more quick cash/ get it set up as a vendor on clickbank

    6) $3,000 - $4,000 in two months.

    Your gal telling you that you have balls that clank when you walk. It's the greatest piece on dominance I ever read.

    If you're the person I'm talking about, you can easily create a product or a free report and build a list. Once the list is built, mail them regularly and promote a product that's genuine, converts and works. Keep adding more subscribers to your list on a regular basis through articles. try to write around 10 articles a day for best results.

    Even if it brings you only 50 subscribers a day and you make only $1 a subscriber, you'll have made about $3000. $1/subscriber is doable. A zero score list building newbie like me made it happen(I'M NOT A NEWBIE... ALTHOUGH I'm INTERMEDIATE AT LIST BUILDING). So it's doable for you too.

    And later on... you could monetize the list you built to sell even more bigger launches... You can sell your own products or sell affiliate launches.

    Even I have a similar goal. But it's in one month. It depends on the game plan you have..
    - Choose a niche that buys
    - Create emails that provide value that presells people
    - Write the articles like crazy
    - And then your results will speak

    Attacking more than 1 niche at a time is a good idea. I'd say three niches if it's possible for you. from those 3, 1 will be low, 1 will be high and the other will be average. It's your choice...
