Blog or Website or both ?

INTERNET MARKETING

Hi Guys,

Want to set up my first blog but have a question. Do I need to have a website too ? As I see it, i could promote products from my blog whilst adding content etc and I was just wondering why I would need a website too ? Do any marketers just use a blog or will they also use a website ?

You could get a way with just a blog without problem. It really depends on how you want to structure your site.

Just use Wordpress to build your site. You can do just about everything you want with it and the themes/plugins available.

WordPress and the many themes / plugins available for it has changed so many things for Internet marketers. WP makes it so easy to create blogs, static sites, pages, and membership networks, etc. What was once tedious work is now done automatically with the click of a button. You can create dozens of nice looking and effective WP sites every day... and it costs nothing. You can definitely get by with just blog sites.

Just remember one thing... the house may easily built, but you still need to furnish it with nice stuff.

build your site, and setup a blog in it to promote your site, communicate with visitors and help SEO.

blog is awebsite it has better advantages than static.

A blog is a website, but I think I know what you mean. Yes, I'd recommend both. Your blog will be a more personal, less formal means to attract reader attention. Your website will be a more professional, business-like outlet to sell your products and services.

It depends on what you're doing. The website(s) (I've included blog in there) should be dictated by the content and the content should be dictated by your marketing strategy.

If you can do your selling from one then use *just one*, this helps keep your resources focused.
