Help! I'm looking for some....

... PLR related to small business (management, entrepreneurism, employee) training.

I'm in the final stages of pulling a project together and find myself needing some material that deals with the value of training to small business owners. What kind of training.... employee development, applied small business marketing, business processes, etc...

Hopefully, someone will be able to point me to something suitable. If not, I'll probably be looking for someone to write a handful of short articles that address very specific topics.

Thanks in advance!

Chris
  • Chris, step away from the PLR. Please, don't do it. If you've invested that much time in creating a project, why skimp on the last step and use some old rehashed content that was likely written by someone who knows NOTHING about the subject?

I know that there are expert writers out there somewhere (I know Jenn over at Professional Business Writer, Web Content Writer, and Blogger - Jennifer Mattern specializes in business and PR related content, she might be able to help...)

Just please - step away from the PLR. Be strong!

      LOL

Cherilyn, I get your point.... I'm down to the last bits here.... The product itself is packaged and ready to go. Sales copy is just about complete. All I am looking for here is some filler material for the website.

I'm running out of time and, truth be told, probably suffering a little bit of writer's block. On top of all that.... I'll likely edit the hell out of whatever I end up using.

I really do appreciate your thoughts/concerns.... and thanks for the recommendation. Am fully prepared to go that route if I can't find something that I can re-purpose.... would just like to save a little time.

      Cheers,
      chris

  • Well if you're going to edit it like crazy, then you're just basically using it for inspiration - which isn't as bad. I suppose I could let that go

If writers block is the issue though, here's a tip I use sometimes - find something that is half-related to what you want to write, and half way out in left field. The first thing that comes to mind with your topic is dog training, actually. Weight training might work, too.

Go find articles (popular articles, through stumbleupon or digg or something similar) on dog training. Check out their titles, and the idea behind the article.

I'm willing to bet you can find some unique perspectives on business training by researching dog training. Things like discipline, repetition, group training, etc.

It's actually a concept from NLP that I modified - using an interruption. You're probably so "into" thinking about business training right now that finding a unique perspective is the hardest thing in the world.

So look at something wacky and unrelated - you might find that the ideas start flowing!

In any case, best of luck!
