Hello, We are jondrea. My name is Jon and my wife is Andrea. We are looking to make a little extra money on the internet. We have tried a few things and now we are getting serious. We are currently involved in a IFW network and it is not going as fast as we hoped. We stumbled across this forum doing some link research and it seemed like the place to get some good advice.

1. We know no one reads books anymore but we do. Any books to suggest to get a solid foundation?

2. Where should we start on this forum because there is on section titled newbie's or beginner's?

3. Just to ask.LOL. What is the quickest way to make an extra $300-400 a week that you have found? I know it is not that easy but I thought I might would get lucky!!!

4. Anyone marketing IFW sites and can offer any help as to putting up a blog or something?

Looking forward to soaking up some knowledge!!

Jondrea

p.s. Jon is a lousy typist!!

Welcome to the Warrior Forum, you will find most your answers here. Use the Search function to get answers to many of people before you that asked same question.

It's hard to make $300 to $400 per week without learning Internet Marketing. I would start by educating yourself, learn some basic HTML and build a Social Media following. Goodluck

I agree with James. You have to become attractive to people. You have to start by getting the training, but once you get it..you can look to help others by offering great information..and because you helped them solve their problem, then yours will disappear..I wish you and the wife well..

I am going to have to agree with the two posts above. You need to educate yourself before you even attempt anything other wise you are going to end up disappointed.

And remember this... This is not a walk in the park. This is real work! Sometimes I work 40-60 hors a week. Please, don't fooled by anyone promising you $10,000 your first week. I am sure you two are smarter than that, though.

Now, with that said. The best this for you to do is join the war room here. It does cost like $37 or something but is well worth it. Spend some time reading all the really cool methods. There is something for everyone in there and I feel like is a good starting point for anyone just starting out.

    I wish you much success!

Hello Jondrea and welcome to this great forum. I would suggest not to do what alot of people do starting out...which is read too much,or you may end up suffering "information overload" This is a real problem that can affect the best of them. I say this because there is infinite ways to make money online. So what happens is you get so much good info you can't decide on a direction and become stagnate.

You can get a solid foundation in IM by reading the sticky threads here as well as the highly rated posts in this forum. Another suggestion, everything works to some extent, but what are you guys good at? I would go with your strengths whether it be writing, designing etc.

Take a look at the WSO section, and look for a highly rated product/guide and go with that 1 guide until you thoroughly understand that process. I would also suggest joining the War Room. Whatever you do save your money, because really you don't need to spend that much to make a full-time income online, especially $300-400 a week. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

Of course you have hosting, and may want to buy a few productivity tools to save time, but in reality you can find free tools that will do most of what you need.

If you guys wanted to offer a service I would suggest offering them here, but also take a look at Elance.com If you are a good at a particular service you will make 300-400 a week easily. Just look at what some of the service providers have made or make on that site. It's crazy (in a great way).

IFW sites work for sure I myself don't use them however.

Good luck to you and Welcome to the forum!

Just like everything else there is a learning curve involved in internet marketing. You don't need to read books. Just do a search on Google and you'll find more information than you'll need to get started. You may spend many hours before making your first sale, let alone earn $300 or $400 a week. But you can do it if you're persistent enough. Good luck.

I agree with helptobiz. You are at high risk of information overload. The best thing to do is find a working business model. What worked best for me is affiliate marketing. And I do believe that if you can promote affiliate products in combination with article marketing. It can be one of the most effective business models that will make you good money if you stick to it.

      Regards

    Welcome jondrea!

You've already made a smart choice by not only joining, but by introducing yourselves.

While books may not be as "in" as they once were, a lot of people here read actual books, and a lot of them.

One of my favorites is Influence by Robert Cialdini. Highly recommended.

I believe someone asked a while back for book recommendations. You can try doing a search for it. In the mean time, I'll see ifI can find it and post the link here.

    All the best,
    Michael

    Welcome Jondrea!

Well, there are plenty of ways to make that extra cash online. However, you need to find out which business model that you like most as what's working for somebody may not be working for you.

Generally speaking, people do better in things that they love. So, find a suitable business model here http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...ing-model.html

    Choose one..

    Then make a search here
    http://www.warriorforum.com/search.php

(just type in the name of your chosen model)...

    Spend time digesting the info....

Stick to that model.. implement, test, tweak and analyze ...

If you come across any problem, post it here again. Warriors will be more than willing to help you.

    Cheers!

Haha, I like the "jondrea" title!

I will just give my personal opinion that affiliate marketing is the best way to go for a newcomer to internet marketing. With affiliate marketing, all you really need is a lead capture page (also called a squeeze page), then you just focus on generating traffic to your page through a any number of effective methods.

I've just found this to be the simplest route to making income fast, and also learning the fundamentals of internet marketing at the same time.

Hi Jake Here, There are really a lot of ways online that can help you generate 300 to 400 bucks per week. But as a suggestion, I would recommend you to start with something that is your common interest, hobbies or something that you like to do together. From there on, find related products and sell them off as an affiliate and earns the comission. I guess this is where you would like to start from. And As for How to sell them off, you will have to find some free or paid resources and learn the skills to do it. There are a lot of different tools and ebooks that you will need here in warrior forum or the www. Thank you.

    Hey guys,
In my opinion, Michael Jones' The Affiliate code is an excellent product for both beginners and intermediate internet marketers. It covers important aspects such as niche selection rationale, copywriting skills, free traffic generation. It is a very good course. Also, it comes with a course by David Guindon with priceless CPA marketing ebooks and video trainings.

I was into IFW sites a few years ago and made about $15k paypal plus about $5k in physical items but things change and its alot harder to earn with them consistently, imho.

I would agree with what most people above had said as well. Save your money for now, no need to buy any special courses or wso's. You can get a great education on just this forum alone and its all free!.

Figure out your strengths and/or things you might enjoy such as writing articles, designing sites, etc. etc. Then pick an internet marketing business model that uses those skills. Finally just research more and more and focus on JUST THAT ONE business model and work it until your successful in it. Then and only then feel free to expand into another area/business model.

Following the leads of "don't spend a lotta money of STUFF" will be one of the smarter things you do.

One thing I 'would' look into investing in, however is your business registration and separating your personal assets from your business.

Doing a Google search on "incorporating" or "incorporating online" will give you enough choices to do some good research. Make sure to do your research. If you don't have one, find one -- a financial adviser OR accountant; preferably a tax accountant.

No telling how quickly you'll start to make money; it depends on your personal efforts, (yes... it IS a lot of work). Yet, everybody works at their own pace and your pace may be quicker, (or slower), than others. All in all, the best thing to do is at least have a "plan of action", (even if you don't incorporate 'now' but later)... at least you'll have your ducks in a row.

I'm not a tax accountant nor a tax consultant. The information you gain from my post is for entertainment purposes and should not be construed as legal advice of any form. Always consult a professional with the proper credentials.

(Sorry about that... you know how it is)

    Hope this helps,
