So many ways to make money - this is just one of them

Recently i re-discovered something i didn't pay attention to in the recent months.

PLR (ebooks and software)

This is only one tiny piece of the "internet marketing cake", and here are some astonishing examples how some people make money with PLR.

*) I came across a WSO where someone seriously stated simply to get some PLR ebook(s), add a little twist to it and re-sell it on webmaster forums as a WSO.

(I don't condone this AT ALL since it's also against WSO rules, but the blatant way how someone allegedly made $500/day by re-selling some PLR reports just blew my mind....)

*) Collect whatever PLR software and ebooks you can find on the internet (there are zillions if you know where to look!) and make your own "PLR store front" - and re-sell the software and books for a few bucks.

(There is an amazing amount of such sites. This is also rather blatant to make money off what is basically free. But i need to admit that finding free PLR is actually not that easy. More and more PLR is indeeed available only on such "store front" sites and being sold. I have no doubt that the owners of those sites make a lot of money.

*) PLR can mean ebooks, reports (WSO style "make money reports"), niche articles, wordpress themes, software, complete web sites

Make some membership site for free articles, or put up a niche adsense site. Cha Ching!
Or use a good looking PLR product which comes with a complete web site, add your own payment/paypal ...put the site up. Cha Ching!

*) Use one of the rebrandable softwares or ebooks and spread it around for free, give it to your list, whatever. Have your affiliate links in it. Cha Ching!

*) Use it as bonuses or as an incentive for people buying a product through your affiliate link. Cha Ching! "Hell yeah, this is my $2997 bonus which you can get if you order from my site".

...and the list goes on...

It's mind boggling sometimes what one can do.

    Hi

There are so many ways of making money on the internet but as I have discovered in my own personal experience
    1. Find a niche or product
    2. Focus on it and nothing else until you can monetise it
    3. Focus some more
    4. Perfect the process
    5. Rince and repeat with another niche or product.

I literally spent years running in circle and never got past step 1

Focusing was the hard part for me. I was continually bombarded with emails about new and shiny new products which I chased after every time and ended up with nothing done.

For my 2 cents worth FOCUS FOCUS and FOCUS

Chase after every product you are offered and you will end up with nothing done, no further forward than you are now and no more money in your pocket!

    Cheers

      GeorgR,

What you have listed is just the tip of the iceberg of what can be done with PLR. In fact, those are the least creative (and easiest) ways to use it.

Some ways that take a bit more work but can be very lucrative:

You can take an ebook apart and create a website, page by page.

You can combine several PLRs to make a large product.

Break a good how-to PLR into lessons and create a course.

Parts or entire PLR articles make a great base for an email series or newsletter.

Take a general PLR topic, like the tired dog training niche, and add in some breed specific content and images. Rewrite as needed to ensure it is breed specific throughout the book and you now have a micro-niche product. Let's see - how many different breeds are there? That's an empire builder idea.

Yea, PLR has a lot of uses if you know how to use them. These days I get involved in a number of new niches on a weekly basis. For the ones I'm not so keen or interested in but I see there is a market, I go PLR and have it rewritten for me. With PLR, it cuts my creation time by more then half. That's for sure.
