What would it take to get more of the non-ebook selling mega millionaires to participate regularly?

Every post you see these days seems to be about article writing to sell some else's ebook.

An act of God.

Most of them aren't going to. For many reasons. I'll list a few.

1. They get bashed a lot. Anyone in the 'spotlight' does.

2. Anything they do is held up in the open light for all to see. There are some marketers who would love nothing more than ALL forums to vanish off the face of the earth. Leaving nothing but them and their lists and no one with a voice to make a legitimate compliant or criticism. Everything stays 'in the dark' in other words.

3. They simply don't have the time.

4. They may not be at all sociable. Many people simply don't like talking in a forum, chat room or anything else.

5. They feel it somehow 'lowers' them. There are quite a few pathetic **** weasels (love ya Gary) infected with this one. These are only pretending to feel this way, when the real reason is usually number 2 above.

Those pretty much cover it...

To become one yourself.

But I agree it'd be cool to see something besides the article marketing and EZA stuff here.

When someone who has done it gives advice to someone on this forum and 20 people who are complete newbs give advice and make a post about what an expert they are it kind of drowns out the real advice that was valuable.

Most people won't even take your advice unless you toot your own horn about how much money you've made.

I find my self wanting to post less each day almost reducing my advice to congrats and keep going and don't give up type post because you got newbie marketers in here touting big dollar signs to other newbies. It isn't the newbies fought as they can't tell good info from bad.

Really destroys any real value of posting and trying to help.

I use to try and help people more than I do now but what I found is most almost all people don't take advice and implement it. I would say maybe 1 in 500 people that you give your all to would go out and do the steps needed to succeed.

What I discovered is the people who would take your advice and go on and succeed with it, will end of successful whether you help them or not.

There is enough advice in the archives of this forum and for free on the web that there is really no point in making new posts. I believe these type forums after a certain point actually hurt the new marketers because they think that tomorrows post will bring the secrets that they desire.

When the truth is everything you need is in the archives. If you read them and don't get it the asking for more advice is just grasping.

I agree Terry. And to make matters worse, the people who post the same stuff everyday have huge fan clubs of newbie supporters and groupies that will defend any opposing opinion.

That also explains why the less popular millionaires prefer to stay in the background.

There's some truth there. But we keep on keeping on because of that 'one' in 500 that does listen and does act. That 'one' is all I've ever worked for...

Dude - Jim L is a genius gazillionaire. He was a featured speaker at Yaniks Underground and shared a seven figure a month business plan. He knows more about buying media and putting together a solid sales funnel than most... he taught me plenty.

Damn, shame on me. *Takes Note* Post count doesn't mean much.

Sorry Jim for the unintended insult.
