Hey,

I built a list in an extremely competitive niche through articles. Built about 277 subscribers and made $343.38 in total earnings from the email list so far...

I built a list for the first time in my life and backed it up until I got a lot of subscribers. My formula seems to have worked well coz these guys ended up buying the product. Although, I was promoting a stupid low converting product at first... But now I've made changes.

I sold excessively and that made me get about 82 opt outs. So I have about 180 subscribers on my list now...

The niche is extremely competitive and over saturated. Although the money made has been good, I had to write a whole lot of articles for this. About 90 articles for this many subscribers... My earnings have been just about $3.5 an article....

Is this campaign successful? Do I have to mine it and completely dominate this? Or should I ditch this campaign and move on?

I've made around $1.23 per subscriber. Does that mean that I've presold and sold them well to buy the product? This was my first venture and I'm clueless.

If my emails had been good, I should probably move on to other niches and copy my formula then...

Lemme know...

And they usually buy within the first 15 days. Although I have mails up to day 30... I can't figure out if this was a success or a failure because i put in a lot of work into this...

I'm not in here for some quick cash. I WANT SOME BIG BUSINESS MONEY... A recurring income so that I can do more outsourcing and stuff...

  • Well, if this is new for you, I'd say good job.

90 articles to me does seem like a lot of work though. Are you looking at a building a business, or making some quick cash? Regardless, you did see results for the time spent, so I would say that is good.

use that money you've earned to hire an article writer, get more leads to your site and strenghthen your relationship with them.. give them value and benefit in return, people don't like to be sold, so don't immediately sell them an item.

Congratulations. This is a good step you've taken. You are making more then a dollar per subscriber. I would suggest to keep building your list and slack off on the promotions. I only like to promote products 1-2 a month. this will keep your subscriber list from leaving a little more. Keep providing quality content and promote more then one product to get the most out of each subscriber.

I would also start moving your buyers into a separate list. If they buy from you once, you have a much greater chance to get them to buy again.
