Going To Try PLR, any ideas?

I have not yet tried using PLR material and have either written my own stuff or had it written. Now i am going to try PLR and see how it does.

Give me some ideas.

1. What do you look for in PLR articles?
2. If PLR articles are in a Niche you have not marketed before how do you decide if the PLR material is satisfactory?
3. Do you look for bonuses when buying PLR, can they eb a deciding factor?
4. Do you use PLR for new Niches or for Niche ideas?

Those are a few questions I had. Your ideas would help in deciding to use PLR material or not..

Thanks in advance for any ideas.

That's a serious problem. You don't get to see them before you buy them. (sigh) I just tried a couple of plr packs with not much for results.

The first one was incredibly bad in spite of high praise for the writers overall work. Just in the niche I needed the quality was unbelievably low. Bought a second pack and at least the first article was good enough that I could put it up with just a bit of adjusting.

When I went to the rest of them a couple of nights ago, they weren't good enough that I'd want them on a site of mine.

So I've given up on them for now. I'm just going to article directories and using articles from them. At least you do get to read them first. The links back are a bit of a pain in the neck, but that's what I'm doing for now.

      1. I look first at the topic to see if it's something I can use. Then I look to see who the writer is and try to get an idea if they're of the caliber that I want. If the person is here, I look at their post history to see how they write plus look for feedback of anyone that has a high credibility level for me.

Let's be honest, someone you don't know who posts "these articels were wrote really good" is probably not judging quality by the same standards as you are.

My next consideration is the length of the articles as well as the price. I will definitely pay more for longer pieces, as well as if it's from a writer that I know puts out great work.

      2. For unfamiliar topics, I would prefer to buy PLR from someone I've bought from in the past that I trust to provide well researched work. However, it really doesn't take that long to do enough research to determine if the person got their facts straight. If they didn't, then you know who to add to your "do not buy" list.

      3. Bonuses are nice and I won't refuse them but they are not a deciding factor for me. Although, if it was more PLR, it might hold more weight.

      4. I don't use PLR for niche ideas. I buy PLR according to the ideas that I already have. I would use it for new niches, however, providing it meets the rest of my requirements.
