Here's the thing...I have studied some of the marketing gurus money-making strategies to do with niche market money sites where a website is set up to sell stuff on a particular niche, the keywords , domain name content, affiliate sales SEO etc..is set up around that particular niche and a money making website is set up. My question is , Can the same niche content be set up on a page only so that they are all on the same website? I mean you have different niche subjects and content on different pages but tyhey are all on the same site, Will that work/ Or is it necessary for each niche to have its own site? Does anybody have any suggestions or answers about this? Thanks

Some people target a number of niches off of the same domain, but in my opinion, the best way is to have an individual site for each seperate niche.

That way you can have a domain name that is more specific to each niche - this is better for SEO and generally just better in my opinion.

Also, a point worth considering is that if you have all your niches on one domain, your competitors only need to see your one website to find out all your other profitable niches... and we don't want that now do we?!

So yeh, I'd reccommend having a seperate website for each niche you target.

    Matt

P.s. I'm in NZ at the moment... love it!

It is true that if you will have all the things in one website it might not be beneficial for you, and will be to profitable to others. If you will have the sperate site, then you can even measure each and very target individually and you can be able to judge your performance.

    Hello fellow New Zealander

It's better to have separate individual websites set up for each niche.

E.g. One for weight loss, another one for making money, another one for forex etc etc

This is because you want each website to be relevant and concentrated on what the visitor is actually looking for. This will greatly improve conversions and also allow your websites to rank much better in the search engines.

Unless you are trying to create a massive information portal type website such as wikipedia, expert village etc.

    Hope that helps

Another important item to consider. If you ever get to a point where you want to sell a website you will be glad that you set them up on seperate domains otherwise you're royally screwed.

Apologize for being so blunt but I'm a bit tired tonight and wanted to make this final post before bed.

    Respectfully,

You always want to set up a niche on it's own site. You want your niche to have it's own "niche"!

it will be better if you had different sites for different niches. unless you own a huge article directory or wikipedia style sites...

You could have several related products on the site tho, say a diet prgram and an exercise bike. You'd just need to optimise for the niche and offer a range of products around that niche. Just be sure to be specific enough in your choice of niche.

It depends on how competitive the niche is. My personal site seems to have ended up as an authority site for just about anything .

Well, niche marketing is called "niche" marketing for a reason. However, don't stop thinking outside the box. Depends on the niche. One site with all of your niche subjects may do well. about.com is a perfect example of the niche titled: information niche. The site (business behind the business) targets almost every niche in one form or another. Why? It is a great site to acquire information about almost everything the casual and seasoned surfer would want/need to know about.
