Is the dating niche for men profitable these days?

Hi,
I've had a website to help men with dating. I have posted articles, squidoos, hubpages and I recently started to work on forums.

Why am I getting virtually no traffic? the site is very well designed and packed with content. And I am still invisible for Google.

Any suggestion appreciated...

    Do guys still have problems picking up girls?

    If yes then there is money to be made in the niche, if no then there's no money left and you should just quit.

    EDIT: Just looked through your site and I like the design and all. I also checked the google index and your site is indexed.

    The problem is that you have not optimized your pages for search engines. You don't have your keyword in the title of the single one of your pages.

    You only have 5 backlinks pointing to your site. That's not enough to rank in google when you go after a competitive niche such as dating.

      Hes right about ur pages, and that horrible subscription screen coming up as soon as I hit the site doesnt help either, its an instant close from me !

      But it's strange that I have only 5 backlinks pointing toward the site. I've been posting tons of articles in all major directories over the last 9 months...

    I'd say yes. But you need to get DEEP into the PUA world, do offline seminars, attend events, all of that. Its a totally different world. You aren't going to make any big time money unless you become a celebrity in the niche IMO.

    Yes, it is still profitable if you know what you're doing. It's important to be a little different and not look like all the other copycat sites out there. I opened the two sites posted in this thread and both times I didn't know what to do so I left.
