Unless you have some pretty advanced requirements, then Google Analytics should be all you need.

  I would highly recommend Google Analytics. It provides very detailed stats and intergrates with Google Adwords if you decide to do paid ads.

  i use statcounter for free, and stuffed tracker for paid. stuffed tracker has excellent split testing facilites which I like.
