Optimize a page or start a new site on a new domain?

Hello all, I asked this question on couple of different forums but I didn't really get an answer I was looking for, hopefully someone here can help me.

I have a blog that gets a modest 50 visitors a day on long tail keyword searches. The blog is not niche specific and it has bunch of different contents mixed in. Out of that, there is one page which has a CPA offer and that page gets about 10 visitors a day. The traffic conversion rate is very high and I get $15 to $30 per lead (dependent to later sales).

I want to scale this up, but I would like to know if it would be better for me to start a new site on a new domain fully devoted to the CPA offer in question. I guess I could also opt to do offsite optimization for the page that's already receiving (albeit tiny) traffic, but being part of a general theme blog, my fear is that it won't rank as well as a theme specific website.

Why do I not do both? I have to split my time between work, family, and IM. I don't have enough time to tackle two projects simultaneously and I also have other blogs to work on as well. So what would you do? Optimize the existing page? Or build a new site devoted to the niche? Thanks everyone in advance.
