Which article sites give the best results

Depends entirely on the niche and quality of article.

Helium can get high traffic but no good for follow links if you are trying to get more back links.

ezine is good. article blast is also good (instant article acceptance)

The best sites in my experience are:

Ezinearticles, goarticles, articledashboard and articlesbase.

Summit your articles to these sites, and you should be able to get some good results

Ezine articles is a step above everything else... in most people's experience I think anyway - make sure you submit there regularly, especially if oyu are just starting out, sometimes an article will really catch on and send you a lot more traffic than any other source.

Ezine Articles is the best hands down.

Visitors will depend on to many factors like your niche, article quality, signature/recourse box quality.

Ezine Articles will also get indexed pretty much straight away...Google loves it.

What Google loves today, they may not love tomorrow

I'm still not sure how long people are going to keep paying their monthly fee to be premium ($97?)....especially, when emerging models offer the same thing, and actually pay people for the submission of their content.

Ezinearticles offers free accounts as well. Just because people are using ezinearticles doesn't mean they are paying for "premium." I don't pay for premium and I don't care about waiting to have my articles published on ezinearticles. The traffic I'm getting is great and I am getting paid by google and other programs on my blog.

Many of those sites that pay you to submit are the ones that don't pay you but allow you to get paid by google adsense for the clicks generated by your content

Yeah, I agree with most members here. EzineArticles really is above all the others. They really DO check the articles for quality (or their servant robots do, anyway).

It's very professional and demands respect from authors and readers.

Do a search on the keywords you are targeting. The article sites that come out is the one that you want to target.

For getting traffic, I agree with the guys here - Ezine Articles has been the best. But I do submit my articles once they are spun to many, many directories. There is great traffic potential in that.

Be cautious with HubPages....I do like them, but if one let's their hubscore slip, ALL their do-follow links will automatically revent to No-follow....

I have just submitted my first article to Ezine articles and although I had to re-do it several times the effort has paid off and had 20 views of the article within a few hours.I have also submitted to Article Base and Article Dashboard with lesser results but still results.

Be patient the traffic does eventually come with consistency and perseverence

I personally only use a handful of directories which is all you need. If use to be that submission software was great to use before, however with google making huge changes this is not the case. Too much of the same content on the internet will backfire on you.

Like a lot of my fellow marketers here, I love ezinearticles.com especially all the tools you can use as far as keeping track of the traffic to you articles. After submitting to this site you only need to submit to maybe 3 or 4 more sites and that should be more than enough.

After you submit to the directories you should post it to your blog.

Article Alley is a good one if you want your stuff to be syndicated.

Buzzle is great for authority links - individual articles often achieve PR2-3 which almost never happens at other directories.

Ezine, ArticlesBase are the top sales generators for me.

Buzzle, to me, is not worth the trouble - needs unique content, takes more work to submit, etc. I use only very rarely.

Your traffic is completely dependent upon your (keyword) research.

A well written article that ranks in the search engines for a keyword that gets searched hundreds of times a day is WAY better then 20 poorly optimized ones.

Directories?

I recommend EzineArticles, Docstoc, Slideshare, Goarticles and ArticleBase.

Hi.. yes there are various article directories over the net but if you are gonna use them to have backlinks, all of 'em are not for your use because some of them put 'nofollow' tag in the resource box and that won't help make you backlinks.

Some of the best that can help you with this are -

1. Ezine
2. GoArticles
3. ArticleDashBoard
4. ArticleKindPro
5. Buzzle

These directories do not put 'nofollow' in your links rather sites like ArticleBase, ArticleSnatch. A1Articles etc put 'nofollow'.
