I'm a bit confused. I love this forum, I've learnt a lot from it. I go through it everyday but I don't post often. I'm also a war room member, it's fantastic, I'm actually proud to be a member of the Warrior community. I understand everyone here is a moderator and if a post gets flagged enough it disappears but yesterday I actually posted something that I thought would help some people. It was a link to a blog with a list of sites which are "dofollow." I even got thanked by a few for the post cos it was actually pointing them to a very good resource. But then, BANG it disappears. Strange. I thought I was helping out lol. Adam |

Did you try searching for it Adam? Sometimes they get buried a few pages back if there's enough new posts... ~D. |

| It disappeared I always open posts in a new browser tab. The old tab contained the post when I clicked on it later on in the day it said the post has been removed or something.

Something similar happened to me a while back. I started a thread to provide a link to a great resource - a newsletter that provides lots of excellent advice. It wasn't an affiliate link or anything - maybe Alan thought it was?! Or maybe that's just not the sort of post he wants. Maybe he doesn't want us sending Warriors away from the Forum as its whole purpose is to be a major resource. Sending Warriors elsewhere could be viewed as defeating the Forum's role and Alan's intentions for it. That's what I thought, anyway, right or wrong. Sylvia |

Hi Adam, I'm going to find that mod that allows an admin to put a note saying why a post was deleted. As far as yours, you didn't intend to do anything wrong with your post. And if we lived in a perfect world it would have been fine. Problem is, the Warrior Forum is ending up on more and more of those lists. Guess what's going to happen if it becomes any worse? We'll turn to nofollow... Think about something....what is your real purpose for even finding a site that lists dofollow sites? :-) Now just think a little further and imagine what kind of scum out there also seeks out these lists. Like I said, the worse it gets the closer I come to going nofollow on the entire forum, something I don't want to do. | |
