Which wordpress plugins do you use?

Hi,

I am thinking of putting together a package which automatically installs wordpress plugins for any number of sites you have.

So you can simply put in something like:
websitea.com
websiteb.com
websitec.com

etc, etc, as well as the plugins you wish to have automatically uploaded & installed.

Which plugins do you use, and is there anything else you think would be important, or does that sound good?

Thanks!

JJ

Thanks. How many sites do you have, & do you think such a tool would be useful (for say future plugin installs?)

    Code:
WordPress › WP Super Cache WordPress Plugins

YOURLS: WordPress to Twitter - Create short URLs for posts with YOURLS (or other services such as tr.im) and tweet them. This plugin will tweet your crappy scraped posts and make short urls (like bit.ly) except it uses YOURLS installed on your own server. You will have to install YOURLS but it is worth it in my mind since you get the links pointing to you instead of bit.ly.
    Code:
YOURLS: WordPress To Twitter (a Short URL Plugin) planetOzh

YOURLS - An open source URL shortener that you install on your own server. This is NOT a Wordpress plugin. Instal this in a subfolder of your domain like "go" or something short.

    ^^What BlueSquares said.

Except anti-spam (and maybe some basic SEO improvements) I will use different plugins on different blogs and websites, simply because they are... well, different.

I need different plugins when I am setting up an affiliate type of blog - and completely different ones when setting up the website for my high school reunion (only for registered users and a lot of specific stuff to enable them to post their story, family photos etc.)

I guess I made it clear I don't believe in "pre-packaged" plugins, sorry.

By using all the plugins on a wordpress site with links going back to the author, does this hurt you site with the link bleeding? Are you better off just using a premium theme so you don't have as many authors bleeding your site's PR?
