Where do I find traffic?

How do you attract visitors without the time consuming efforts of ad exchanges, blogging, web 2 networking, article distribution, joint ventures, list-building sites, seo rankings, expensive ppc and cpa campaigns, ineffective blasters, safelists, posting to forums, directory listings etc.?
I guess what I am really asking is where to find someone with a big list of names, who may have certain conditions for including a recommendation to his or her e-zine readers or followers?
For instance, I have several of my own affiliate programs and many products and am offering 50% commission on all of them. Will I be able to find such a resource?
Where do persons go to search for products to promote?

Pierre, you may actually do better to offer 100% commisions to that person with a list of people interested in the niche you serve.

It may not seem obvious at first, but those with the kind of list valuable enough to benefit you, obviously don't need you or your 50% of anything.

However, if you try to find out who they are and then try your best to establish a real relationship with them without the dollar signs in the eyes where you look past them when talking to them and only see their list,

then you may find a door that opens naturally when they ask you what you do and you mention you have a product that perfectly complements
what they offer and would provide value to their list.

If you give them an affiliate link to promote it and give them 100% commissions,

then they may me more highly motivated to promote your offer to their large list of responsive buyers.

A targeted list like that along with that third party recommendation

will pay you much more in the long run with backend offers, follow up offers, referrals and a new list of buyers for yourself.

The thing is, you may never have that opportunity unless you offered
    the 100% commissions.

Even so, there is no guarantee they would open up their list to outside sources anyway.

So if you are really looking to locate and establish a relationship with someone who is established in your niche already,

then it would be wise to consider being more flexible until you have a list of your own like that to bring more to the table than just a single product.

    Hope this helps.

I agree. A JV with 100% commission on the front end offer. And you must have a back end offer with a killer sales letter and top quality product or don't bother annoying the big guys with it.

    Hi Pierre,

I hope that didn't seem to be too brutal but thought I'd save you a little future frustration by sharing a little from past experience in doing just what you are talking about.

Another way to increase your chances of setting up that deal

is to make sure you provide them your salesletter's conversion rates for your product

so they know what to expect from sending out the offer to their people.

And the easier you make it for them to promote by providing excellent content that they can use to give to their list and recommend with their affiliate link, the more likely also they'll be to promote.

Remember, you're just trying to establish the relationship at first and build your list with proven buyers.

Another strategy you'll find useful is to ask list owners in your niche
if they would "review" your new product in exchange for a free copy and potential traffic by featuring their feedback along with a link to their website as a testimonial on your salespage should they choose to offer one after reviewing it.

These are just a few tips that have worked for me and I'm sure others have some good ideas for you too.

You can also offer something for free and list you site in freebie websites. A lot of people looking for free stuff. Or you can use free classified ads advertising, there is a lot of free classifieds sites online.
